*** Cyberpunk 2077 ***

Im pretty sure they only put that in when fighting the hard psychoninja enemies (whatever their called with the blades and quick attacks), but found I end up running away from them to get space, rather than trying to dodge them.
Not sure if the difficulty makes any difference but I'm finding double tap a godsend against those enemies.

Still trying to decide if I like the combat in this game, it kind of ruins the immersion the amount hits and headshots enemies can take, it reminds me of Dying Light gunplay and loot system.

Also there does not seem to be much gore, I think the game could do with few balance passes and more polish. Feels like an advanced Beta.

I do like the main missions though and some of the Gigs are good fun. There are so many of them as well as violent encounters.

I don't like the loot system and the fact that after every gunfight I have new weapons in my inventory who are only slight upgrades over what I have, I'm level 6 and I must have used like 30 different weapon variations by now

I'm running a 2070s with a 2700x @1440 and FPS is higher than this most of the time, that's with DLSS on balanced.

1440 is blocky compare to 2160 @4K but if you sit far back from the screen you won't see it

Yeah there is a lot of loot, should be able to mark it as auto sell or deconstruct.

I found my first legendary earlier, it’s a headset by a police car, won’t give location away but it was quite low level.

I Feel when modders get hold of this game and tweak a few things I will like it even more.

Can anyone advise what values are best to set the HDR slider settings at?

I’m struggling to find a good balance. Yes I know it is down to personal preference but any pointers would be great.

I have a Samsung Odyssey G7

Anybody has problem with changing gear/mods ? At some point they locked and now i cant changed them, need to go to backpack and change from there.
Also cant take out certains mods from weapons and cant install clothes mods (aka extra weight mod)
Not game changing, but +15 extra weight is quite nice to have

I'm finding them far easier to take down with headshots as I level up and put points towards perks that improve killing percentages. Weapon add-ons also help but at the moment the game appears to be getting easier, rather than harder, the further and stronger I get.

Without reading half the thread, is the game good/ready? I'm in no rush, would it be worth waiting a few months for performance improvements and bug fixes, or is it good to go today?

Disabled RT, in some locations the performance hit even on medium is just insane, it can be the difference between 100fps and 35fps in places, it's just not worth it.

I think that's the main issue with the game, the performance varies far to much depending on the location, it's like there were a number of level designers all working to completely different performance targets and they had no communications at all before everything got bolted together.

Glad DLSS is available here though, saving grace for RTX cards.

Yeah, this has been my experience too. One area of the city will be 30-40 FPS, the another 60-70 but with no discernible difference in complexity. RT off has made it much better, but massive dips are still there.

It could be because I'm getting old, but I'm finding this game to be quite overwhelming at times; there's so much to understand / absorb

I can't even load into a game anymore, tried my last 3 saves and it just crashes during loading screen :(

I had something similar tonight, CTD then wouldn't load. Fortunately a slightly earlier save worked for me. Not sure what you're supposed to do in your position.

EDIT - I was quite taken with that Judy character.
