I exchanged Screen Space Reflections for ultra shadows. I actually like how the game looks with SSR off and disabling it means I can maintain 60 FPS nearly all the time at 1440p.
SSR looks bad on anything other than ultra/high but hurts performance too much. SSR on medium/low turns the game into a grainy mess and blurs foreground objects. It seems like they're using tons of SSR to try and mock the look of RT and it tanks the FPS and is not aesthetically pleasing due to all the weird artifacts it introduces to the scenes. There are still plenty of reflections and specularity where they matter when SSR is disabled.
If you're after the fidelity that the benefit from higher resolutions brings you, SSR is hurting more than helping if you have it on medium/low.
Volumetric fog/clouds on low also greatly improves the frame-pacing in busy areas with a lot of smoke, and it's one of the settings that will prevent you from maintaining 60 FPS when there's a lot of action on the screen.
I noticed lower quality as well.Since the ~2GB update i'm now getting some strange graphics glitches in things like smoke from buildings and off the road when doing a wheelspin.
FPS has also improved but visually i'm sure things look worse than before (highest settings, performance DLSS)
I had no problems other than a couple of crashes after loading an autosave before and the game looked fantastic
Only bug I have had is a floating phone on an npc and I'm 16 hours in.

Been trying to get HDR working in game and managed to do so sort of by enabling it on windows first(makes everythingw ashed out on desktop as expected as all the content on desktop windows is none hdr), but when i run the game and set hdr on to any of its HDR settings(there is two) its also washed out!!
https://www.altchar.com/game-news/cyberpunk-2077s-hdr-is-broken-according-to-hdtv-aizaY9M2FuXL#:~:text=It saddens us that HDR,get a satisfactory picture quality.
The article above states the same issue and seems HDR on this game is "fake"
HDR works fine on division 2 by the way.
edit: i also cant get a fps counter to appear via the steam overlay despite setting it. Originally tried fraps and that too wasnt working
I remember someone saying HDR was working though and all i had to do was enable it from windows..Yup HDR is broke, same for next gen consoles too. It does appear like it works but blacks are raised and highlights are somewhat blown out. Vincent from hdtv test confirmed this for consoles.

Most recent patch has broken something for me, had 4 ctd's in 10 minutes. Basically unplayable now. Prior to today I was playing for 4-5+ hours at a time without issue.
The colours are all washed out, it loses its vibrantsIt "works" but it isn't working the way it should and in many ways, it still looks better than SDR but I rather have blacks be "black" than a light grey.
The colours are all washe dout, it loses its vibrants
Get used to at least 1 patch per week for your buggy game chaps! Looking forward to playing the fully fixed version at a discount price next year
Yes, I think they have too. I went re-loaded to a similar scene outside 'Foodscene' where there was a police shootout. Actual FPS was the same but it felt much smoother than before but looked worseIm thinking the patch has lowered graphics in game, so they can give us better fps, not good or right, anyone can make the game run with better performance by lowering graphics quality.
At least it was the best looking game for a few hoursI noticed lower quality as well.
