*** Cyberpunk 2077 ***

Well I am loving the game and yep, many bugs but it is nice to get back to spending some time playing on my pc. Anyone done the Delamain missions? Proper tickled me withone of the cars. No spoilers but if you liked Portal, you will love it :D

You remember when Arkham Knight came out and it was so terrible on PC and got so bad that it ended up getting pulled off of steam?

And all the console players were like "hurr durr that's what you get for PC gaming herp"

My how the turn tables

Only this time there are major issues on all platforms. Just the PC version can look slightly prettier, so people are willing to gloss over the issues. It’s a pretty shocking release. I expected bugs, I didn’t expect it to be less developed than open word cities that we had in games 18 or so years ago.

Lets look.

"CDPR are done. I fully expect them to fold after this." a personal opinion.

You did and I never had to try...
Please don’t try to take the high ground, it’s painful to watch :D

“I fully expect them”. Yes, well done that is my own personal opinion.

You called me daft for expressing an opinion based on common acceptance of issues which have affected their stock price. Fact.

Your response basically was “don’t be daft, I’m loving the game”. That is your personal opinion (bad grammar aside) but instead of trying to critique my post and explain why I was daft you’ve gone full deuse.

Please don’t respond to any more of my posts, I’d say to put me on ignore but you can’t.

Honestly my gut feeling is that a lot of the more dumfounding omissions (e.g. Police spawning, driving AI, general NPC AI) were in the game up until pretty close to release (especially as CDPR talked about or showed them) but they were having massive problems with them and took the last minute decision to put in stable-but-poor equivalents that would (they hoped) at least allow the game to run, with a view to fix it as soon as possible after release...

Announcing the game so massively far in advance and offering pre-orders so early, it was all just such investor-bait and I guess they got what they wanted financially but of course it came with a big increase in external pressure for a release and return on those investments. So they essentially invited a more traditional AAA studio dynamic onto themselves without properly expanding to have all the operations that those AAA studios have, and this is the result...

I'm not having too many technical issues to be honest but am disappointed and underwhelmed with the game.
It feels lifeless compared to say GTA V single player campaign, the AI is trash and the story is far too linear for my liking. It feels to me like they spent years building this huge world and then dropped an almost on rails story straight through the middle of it.

Unless Im missing something there was virtually no of the interaction with the city, the police AI is unforgivable, the driving mechanics are woeful and there were no consequences to any of the choices made through the gameplay which makes replays nearly pointless.
I did enjoy my play through overall but I've no reason or compulsion to drop back in now and its not like I'm chomping at the bit for some DLC....I'm not.

But £50 for 35 hours of entertainment is still fair so I got my monies worth I guess.

Here's my dude at about 35hrs IIRC - I constantly change my "look" as I'm all about getting better armour rather than fashion so my players look changes every few minutes but this is definitely the most garish he's looked :D

I'm at 40hrs now and just starting Act 2, the side missions alone will take me 150+hrs to complete never mind the main mission but only if I don't get bored by the repetitiveness of the game by then so like yourself for me at least, it's been a worthwhile £50.

I think it may help that I had zero hype about this game. I only bought it as I've just been been put on sick leave (bust tendon in knee) and needed something to fill the time so I hadn't spent months getting hyped as a fan and hadn't even seen a trailer/review first.
