I don't doubt it's a good game. Definitely will be. Just ain't paying full whack for something that'll be fixed and half price in 6 months. I'm glad you are enjoying it though. And merry Xmas TNA
I've put about 30 hours into this since launch and the bugs have been mainly superficial, not total showstoppers. I have had one crash total also. There have been a lot of little glitches and the whole thing screams unpolished in so many ways but the core of the game has been pretty good. It's an enjoyable RPG that I feel has a lot to offer in terms of replay value.I’m enjoying it but it’s not pulling me back, only played it once this week. An RPG should grab you and immerse you, which CP isn’t for me. I think there’s a good game in there it just needs a lot of work. Happy to wait a few months before really diving back into it .
Don't think a couple of months will cut it to be honest (based on your expectations). What will they fix in that time? Just bugs and maybe improve performance a tad? The changes you want if they ever come will be in a year or two imo.I’m enjoying it but it’s not pulling me back, only played it once this week. search on google "cyberpunk 1000 npc" and look at the headlines
on gangs
okay not as bad as it sounds but it lead to articles that translated it to
cmon bruh cyberpunk basically gave no mans sky style promises when interviewed.
what are gangs in the game right now?
NPC that stand around and go hostile as soon as they see you.
the only difference between one gang and the next is the name tag and skin, oh and it's location in the game
Does this presume they have mixed the memory leaks? They are obviously aware of them if they say restarting the game may have been down to a game restartHotfix 1.05. And here is the link to the actually thread about it over at CDPR's Forum.
Hotfix 1.05 is now live on Xbox and Playstation systems! PC version will follow soon.

...Perceived performance increase after editing the file may have been related to restarting the game.
They did. You just don't like it.Microsoft now offering instant refunds. I’ll re-buy it if they ever release an actual game.
Well the guy recommends these settings for the OLED. But I tried it on my PG27UQ which has full array local dimming and is a hdr1000 monitor and it was much better. What TV you got?
Yes bud. I have a couple of bikes and quite a few cars. Most were given to me from missions though. I have a fair chunk of Legendary gear also, which really helps stats.@Gregster you been purchasing any vehicles?
I am level 30 now. Have access to crafting Legendary gear. Got a Legendary Sniper and Handgun so far. Also literally just purchased what maybe the most expensive car in the game for 225,000 credits
Loving it!
Yeah. It is a shame as with a few tweaks this could be a 10 out of 10. Right now it is a 9 for me.

He says ignore the source image on the HDR setting screen when setting it as that is nowhere near how the game will look just set that as the HDR setting and it should work well.
The 0.9 mid tone is the more important one. The default 2 makes everything look much greyer. I thought it was ok at 1.5 and 1000 nits. 0.9 looked preferable but lost its 'HDR pop' but actually just increasing the nits to the 4000 level made it look right to me. Done too much testing was initially underwhelmed by the HDR but extremely happy now. It looks as it should now imo at least for me. Also he said if you have oled with HGIG then 800 nits is the right setting not 4000.When he said 4000 nits, I knew it was not right.
The problem is that windows\Games doesn't do HDR very well because they don't\can't use HDR metadata.

I see a lot of dislike for the game, which is fair enough but I (or technically my wife) paid £50 for the game and not had a single crash. I have had 2 annoying things happen.... NPC's in the door way and crouched down so I couldn't get past them, no matter what I tried, so had to shoot them and got killed by the cops and hacking a camera, I couldn't get off after and had to quit and restart. The only bugs that caused me to tut
I've played about 60hrs so far, 100% completed the starting district, the one north of it, and the one east of it, still in act 2 story wise. Bugs have been very minimal, nothing I can seriously say I care about, nothing game breaking. It's been fairly stable in terms of playing for stretches of 6-8 hours with no crashes, only a couple so far in all that time played is pretty reasonable. Most importantly it's just downright fun, I get that there's a few hilarious bugs and people have made montages of that stuff and yeah biglol, but I can't help but feel people have blown this way out of proportion. Especially the fans who have been on the hype train for years.
None of this fundamentally ruins the game, nor does some features being cut for launch. Like a lot of other things in life it's more about managing expectations, people get an idea of something in their head and if the end result isn't that it's like an emotional bomb has gone off. If you curb that response to over react a bit too much and just take an objective look at the game, it's very good. The bugs and crashes and stuff drag it down a bit but it's an easy 9/10 in potential being knocked down to maybe a 7.5. Some people are treating it as if its complete rubbish, which just isn't true at all. I think my biggest benefit was simply ignoring the hype for the game and learning minimal about it on the run up to launch, and going in somewhat blind. You have people complaining there's no tram/metro system and that a few things are cut or missing, but so what? The game is amazing without those things, it's like people are treating CDPR as their best friend who made them a promise and they broke it so now there's tears. Let's get real, they're a business, they have budgets to stick to, someone mismanaged that and it has less features at launch. The fans could at least do CDPR a solid and put aside the promises and just look at objectively what is being offered, and give credit where it's due. We shouldn't treat the upsides of such a colossal effort with hand wavy basic appreciation, but treat every downside like it has a x20 multiplier on it.
This is my opinion based on high end PC experience, quite frankly the game should have never been released on PS4/xbox, they're garbage tier gaming systems by todays standards. And of course if you were in what appears to be a tiny minority of PC gamers who litearlly cannot start the game or ran into a game breaking bug then I feel you, but I think on the PC those are exceptions are very rare. And again I will say, quicksave liberally, being pinged through the air because of janky physics should be a moment of a quick chuckle and then load the game and carry on, it shouldn't be rabid complaining and refunding the game.
