*** Cyberpunk 2077 ***

Loads of great games coming over the next 6 months or so. Last of us remake, Callisto, dead space remake, others... Don't buy a GPU just for Cyberpunk RTO, chances are what you have now will run it just fine with DLSS2 anyway, and the DLC will be next gen only so will be running on a new engine version so /should/ be considerably more optimised than the current version of the game.

May just leave it installed and fire it up now and then just to enjoy the graphics and roam around
That's what I have been doing since january 2021 when I finished it for the first time. Back then I had 150 hours on steam. Now I have 212 :)

And I haven't played any of the new gigs or any new endings. Waiting for the expansion for all that.

I wish I had VR, at least quest 2. Apparently Night City is spectacular in VR.

Not many new gigs anyway. Less than an hours worth of content. I finished them already. Just going to drive around until expansion is out and chop any of the thugs up that look at me the wrong way

NVidia released their latest driver 522.25 and it is a big improvement on FPS on cyberpunk 2077.

On my i9 12900K and 3090 Ti Gaming Gigabyte, have 10-15 fps more.

gpu usage with DLSS Quality 99%. RT ULTRA on 1440P. And have 10-15 fps more. Drivers new helped

Will be giving it a go tomorrow. Will post before and after.

I finished buying up the new apartments earlier, nothing else left to do in the game once again. Still got loadsamoney left and nothing to buy.

Is it just me or are we forced to use RTX shadows in this game if we don't want shadows to look really bad? Local shadows are pixelated/low res have little resemblance to their objects, and world shadows flicker and shimmer...

Edit: Nvmd on the flickering and shimmering shadows, didn't realise Cascaded Shadows Resolution has to be on High for them not to do that

Didn’t bother with the updated drivers as someone mentioned corrupted maps or something. Will just be for benching anyway as I doubt I will be playing the game much more. Done a couple more achievements. Three left now, but i think I will leave those for another playthrough in the future where I put more emphasis on a different build that would allow me to do them easier.

The map just feels so empty as I did everything. All I see is civilians and a few gang members or scavengers here and there which I kill in no time. Might just do the last mission one more time for some action

Anyone getting the weird map glitch since updating to the latest nvidia driver? It didn't do it the first time i updated, i reset my pc and installed the drivers again and now its doing it! Maps all messed up!

Yeh, it's a known bug and Nvidia are aware of it.
