*** Cyberpunk 2077 ***

Likewise, had a 48” LG for almost 3 years now, zero burn in. With that said, while I used it as my primary screen for the entire time, I made sure it wasn’t set to super high brightness and ran a black wallpaper/hidden desktop icons (recently icons are on my second screen).

I did get a warranty that covered burn in, but thus far, it hasn’t been a concern for me in my use case (gaming and desktop work).

Nope, and if it does get affected, there's 3-years burn-in warranty to cover it, it's a swapout at the door too so no need to send away and wait weeks etc.

Haven’t you just bought a flagship GPU? You’re massively missing out if you aren’t using an OLED display. Tbh it’s so good that if it does burn in, whatever, I’ll just buy another. Doesn’t seem to be much of an issue anymore.

Alternatively, can’t you just keep a cheaper second monitor for work stuff?

I did. It would be ideal but I think burn in is still a thing... And I can't afford to replace it "regularly". Which one have you got?

You can't shoot kids, but if the AI was advanced enough for NPCs, they'd probably shoot you no doubt :p

Still amazed by how good the city looks though, whether path traced or Psycho ray traced doesn't seem to matter, the ambience is all there with RTGI as the baseline.

Wow that looks stunning . I’ve just built a 78003dx and 7900xtx with an Alienware 34oled . Think it will look that good on it ?
 
Should do although I have to admit I love it more for the audio - the city SOUNDS so good.

Also I stuck with the voodoo buys purely because they have nice tunes, I can't help it.
 
Depends on if you choose to use Overdrive or normal RT in Psycho/Ultra - If the former, then even 1440P will cripple a 7900XTX, 30fps is possible but with FSR Ultra Performance being used sadly:

Perhaps best to stay with RT Psycho instead as it still looks amazing :o
