*** Cyberpunk 2077 ***

But I have a Nvidia card!

RT Ultra works fine anyway. Just path tracing that is very demanding where you ideally want at least a 4080.

I fully intend to play the dlc and look forward to it too. Just not sure if I fancy starting the game from scratch right now. Will see when I launch it if it grabs me.

Too many good games coming out to start this one again.

Funny to see the game still has weird bugs here and there. I've seen a split second T-posing enemy, NPCs stuck in the ground, and an ammo glitch where picking up a heavy weapon from a turret would give me 60k+ ammo.

I don't belive you.

@mrk said bugs are fixed. It has had 3 years of polishing now. I mean literally Polishing.

No no, you can't be right.

:p:D

When I played it through after the last major patch the word on the street was that it was big free, yet I encountered almost as many as just after release.

Spider-Man 2, Forza Motorsport, Cities Skylines 2 soon. Plus still playing Starfield.

Ah, a dirty console user.

Unfortunately I will be waiting a 18 months at the very least for Spider-Man 2 :(

I never said this :p

In fact I'm the first to post a gif or screenshot of a bug when I encounter one!

Case in point, post from earlier today!

Ok so I did some further testing, here's two screenshots (get mad Noxia!)

One is 5160x2160 ray reconstruction but with DLSS set to Performance. The other is 3440x1440 with DLSS set to Quality. Naturally the latter runs at a higher fps, but the 4K+ framerate isn't bad at all... The quality diff at above 4K with DLSS Performance vs UQHD DLSS Quality is interesting, in that there is basically no difference. Leaving DLSS on Quality at the DLDSR res results in 60-66fps, which means a much higher input latency which I don't like.

I think I've only got those with the original release and in a couple of instances. That and a mission where I think it was bugged were pretty much the only ones more obvious.

Just finished the transmission quest line which is the precursor to phantom liberty, yet to encounter any bugs, early gameplay is way better now before 2.0 your character never really felt strong until around level 30+ now your annihilating everything in no time.

What builds are you playing, I'm a throwing knife sandevestan ninja with a backup samurai sword when they get a bit closer.

Mantis blades every time.

Last time I played stealth and netrunner but want to go sword and handheld this time. Just starting out so limited choice, but looking forward to progressing

I really like how the cyberware is limited based on level etc now, as well as how the armor is mostly moved to cyberware meaning you don't need to dress up like a clown for stats reasons. It's more like the anime Edgerunners in that respect.

Vehicle combat also seems pretty good, and at times useful.

Fundamentally speaking it's still the same core game, so I expect people who liked it before will just like it some more now.

Yeah you're thinking more strategically now on how you're applying cyberware. I like that you can refund individual upgrades now in perks as opposed to having to mass wipe them all and start again.
