Never mind that, does each load of Cyberpunk change from a random selection of NPCs?
- The waitress in the first photo not only has totally different skin - more than can be explained by lighting, and there is no way lighting can explain the change of hairstyle.
- The person in the 2nd row of seats: first he looks like a fat bold biker, then like someone in a formal overcoat which is a bit tight, then someone similar to the first but with a t-shirt instead of a leather/plastic coat.
Maybe mrk really is trying to get us to do a spot the difference puzzle?
Lighting:
well with TR, the hanging lamp is very poor as are the shadows of the bottles.
The dress? Well the first has far to strong a light; the other two, unsure which I prefer - the RR is softer but maybe too soft.
The ceiling texture seems overly blurred in the RR one. The floor tiles a little but not as badly as the TPU scene with the marble becoming totally blurred.
The real problem is that CB has too many simple textures, so for the table or the seating I am unsure what is better. With RR blurring textures a lot, maybe poor textures is purposeful?
Yes all the debris and NPCs etc can vary on each load as they are generated dynami, but the fps doesn't change as a result of that as these variations are non impacting. If there are 4 NPCs on scene one load then there will be another 4 the next load etc.
Why have the textures downgraded with Overdrive and Reconstruction? It's as if it's bugged and loaded low quality textures.
As for these, not sure, I restarted the game each run, maybe it's a bug in the settings like Gamers Nexus said?
I did a retest just now and got the following between PT + Ray Reconstruction vs normal RT Ultra (with RT Psycho Lighting):
RT Overdrive, Ray Reconstruction, Ultra GFX, Psycho SSR, DLSS Quality, Frame Gen ON:
RT ON, RT Psycho Lighting, Ultra GFX, Psycho SSR, DLSS Quality, Frame Gen ON:
RT OFF, Ultra GFX, Psycho SSR, DLSS Quality, Frame Gen ON:
RT Overdrive, Ray Reconstruction, Ultra GFX, Psycho SSR, DLSS Quality, Frame Gen ON:
RT ON, RT Psycho Lighting, Ultra GFX, Psycho SSR, DLSS Quality, Frame Gen ON:
RT OFF, Ultra GFX, Psycho SSR, DLSS Quality, Frame Gen ON:
Interesting to note the CPU workload being lower with RT Overdrive. Also nearly 4GB of extra VRAM needed to path trace and ray reconstruct vs RT off
I also found a clipping bug where you fall through the ground in this specific area:
It's here if anyone else can check too?
