*** Cyberpunk 2077 ***

I really like how the cyberware is limited based on level etc now, as well as how the armor is mostly moved to cyberware meaning you don't need to dress up like a clown for stats reasons. It's more like the anime Edgerunners in that respect.
There's been a transmog system in place for a while now, so dressing up as a clown is now a choice :)
Vehicle combat also seems pretty good, and at times useful.

Fundamentally speaking it's still the same core game, so I expect people who liked it before will just like it some more now.
Yeah

So I notice they are giving a 'one time' respec option to players now.

My previous build doesn't really work well now as a lot of the powers seem to be gated unless you have 15+ points in something, and a lot of mine had 14/20

Is Phantom Liberty going to increase the level cap in someway though? As 50 is still the max in 2.0

Yes, this is from PC Gamer:

Now here's what's exclusive to Phantom Liberty:

  • A level cap increase to 60
  • A new Relic skill tree with 9 abilities
  • Missions that involve vehicle combat, cars with missile launchers
  • New district Dogtown
  • New storyline, side quests, and gigs
  • Piles of new weapons, vehicles, cyberware, etc.

Don't just read! Watch teh documentary linked there too

Yeah cool watch, thanks for sharing

I know CP2077 has come a long way since release and is a vast game, but it does still have A LOT of immersion breaking bugs for a AAA title. Too many to list but off the top of my head ragdoll physics look like they are from the Nintendo days, same as character movement.

I suppose its plausible CDPR ran out of cash so had to release early to then further develop...dunno...the whole thing does my head in but defo makes for an interesting story

It's quite something that rockstar managed tk make a more impressive game (physics wise) ten years ago.

Hmm the new free car The Hoon is gated by something I've just done the heist and gone to its location and no car or quest. Lv 18 with 32 street cred.

ETA its gated by either meeting Taki (Playing For Time?) or Judy (Automatic Love)

With the GOG version for example, will they just release another full version or just a patch when PP is added? Will it be the same with steam, or did they state it'll have it's own launcher? I know with TW3 you just chose a mission and that started either dlc...

I think I have found another bug not yet mentioned, in photo mode the framerate is considerably lower than when in game. It's not like the textures being loaded are higher either, looks exactly the same, which is confirmed by the RTSS stats showing basically the same memory resource usage. So what's going on here lol.

Edit***
I have figured it out, in photo mode, frame generation is disabled. I manually toggled it in game and get the same fps as photo mode. Weird!

i don't think they would want you to take pictures of the fake frames :D i noticed some cars have wheels that leave a blur trail when you turn them while parked but while in motion they look fine.

Those fake frames are giving me latency-free 120fps, come at me bro

That turning thing has existed with RT on forever, it's just a trait or the RT implementation in that tbh I guess.

I have found some new bugs too, well they are old bugs, but they still exist. Check out this mayhem lmao:

Imagine doing all that only to get a basic and not even large monster truck lol.

but reading teh comments always worth it:

for those wondering - if all you care about is the monster truck, you CAN trigger the sequence of events that causes V to black out without having to solve the arcade game puzzle . I used the laptop at 4am, DROVE (dont fast travel dont time skip) out to the mattress spot, ALT TAB'd AFK for about an hour ingame time. V Coughing is your audio trigger (if you're in another window) that its happening. You wont get the oroborus/witcher icons nor the glowing QR code but you WILL wake up to your monster truck being there

I just dipped in for a quick play with a view to the upcoming DLC, game doesn't look as good as I remember ( particularly the character models of random NPCs), but maybe that's just me.

There is a bug now where loads of sprites spike out of NPC heads which happens fairly regularly.

Reload the game I had graphical issues when loading in for first time since update was installed.
