*** Cyberpunk 2077 ***

If you only played C2077 at the start I'd do a fresh run, they added a bunch of stuff over the various updates plus fixed a huge amount. Plus you'll get to know the skill tree better as you progress through it rather than just select everything with a respec.

Agreed. It will all depend on if I have appetite for a long playthrough and whether it grabs me. Definitely looking forward to the expansion though.

I think I just about managed to endure about 10 hours of starfield before I stopped.

People have said, oh you need to play a bit longer it gets better, well I'm not gonna bother if it only gets better after a significant investment, if it doesn't hook me early, I ain't interested.

Been gaming long enough to spot a good game vs a bad one, Star Field is average at best. I was talking crap about D4 after a few days of early access, and people were like, nah bro it's an awesome game, completely ignoring the arguments I was making about its lack of content and end game, and look where it is now. floating down the river of **** after being flushed down the toilet.

How can Starfield be average at best (I'm in agreement that it's average) when you only managed 10 hours and D4 is apparently garbage after you pumped 100+ hours into it? Surely with your superior knowledge you should have been able to spot how bad D4 was straight away?

IIRC, very few people were saying D4 was an awesome game either, just that it had potential, but then we saw with Blizzard's updates on the direction of the game that they were happy to push it even further down the cliff from the jagged edge it landed on.

The difference is D4 hooks you in early, I said back then if your only interested in the story and stop at level 50 it's a decent 7/10 game.

About 70 hours of my time spent in D4 was out of sheer stubborness to justify the £100 the game cost.

I didn't need to justify anything with Starfield as it was free with my gpu :)

Ah shame. Each to their own I suppose.

The game is huge with loads of quests everywhere. If one started doing the main quests only and not doing much else then I could see why they are not enjoying. If I did that I would not be having much fun either.

The fun is in going out there doing whatever you fancy. Then stumbling across faction quests which some are almost as long as the main quests from what I can see and a lot more fun imo.

It ain't a master piece or anything close and certainly I expected more even going in with low expectations. But still it is keeping me hooked so I am happy :D

£100?

Bwahahaha

I will grab it if it ever goes on sale for sub £30 on steam when Microsoft buy them personally.

LOL not played it for over a week!

I'll try and get back on it soon!

Don't do main missions. I mean maybe do half of it to get the abilities. Some of them are cool and helpful. But after that just go wherever and do whatever you want. Maybe gonto Akila and become a ranger or join the UC Vanguard. Or if you fancy do the Crimson Fleet quests. I quite enjoyed the way that ended.

O no I don't. I've literally just done the first main mission haha

Starfield chat needs to load screen back to the other thread

Anyways, PL unlocks at midnight, I'm level 15 now with 12 hours of play time, hope I reach Voodoo Boys before midnight to naturally transition into Dog Town:p

I remember now why I have over well over 200 hours in the game, whilst on the way to main missions side stuff just distracts you, or a sunset looks too good not to screenshot etc

Started afresh, as my original character was in badlands demanding to be re-spec'd and I had no idea what was what! Pleasant refresher course
