*** Cyberpunk 2077 ***

I disable vignette using the toggle in CET and weather is fine, been in the rain out past the badlands etc. The scanner mod also removes the green tint and that works fine too.

Sorry maybe I should have been clearer in that CET will not break weather as it doesn’t modify the weather file but at the same time CET does not remove the permanent vignette effect applied to the game which is why mods for vignette exist in the first place :)

Ah yeah, I do have a mod that removes vignette when crouching yet still have weather!

Can't remember which, it's one of the ones in the mod directory anyways.

I'm getting over these facts :

1. Totally different game to when it was released
2. It runs so well - turn on, pick your settings and go. No faffing around like most pc games. Stable fps no dips.
3. Graphics are insane I keep taking screenshots.
4. The world and ambient sounds are so immersive. After a sessions taking off the headset etc needs a moment !
5. I'm playing on hard. When I approach a mission or gig I'm planning out my entry and ways of doing it. Reminds me of the OG deus ex.

:D

Really? İ love OG Deus Ex and completed god knows how many times. This game should, but never does remind me of it.

Could be I need to up the difficulty but I always found the game super easy on normal difficulty.

Right now I run up and slash dozens of people with my Katana and never die. Lol.

Due to all the upgrades I do enjoy the aspect of being op, but then that does seem to ruin the game.

On my next playthrough when I get my next GPU in 2025 I need to remember to play on Hard difficulty.

Yeah now that I'm almost done with Dogtown, I'm going back into NC core and doing those missions now. My new abilities are ready for Cyber Psychos.
I'm curious; I've been trying to incapacitate the psychos but in some circumstances it is almost impossible not to simply kill them. Do you lose certain rewards if you simply kill them?

Them reminding us that the game is "fixed" isn't really true is it.

Often I see NPC's or enemies half in the ground with only a head above the tarmac. (I say often, it's once so far).

Yeah. It ain't perfect. But as mentioned you just got to laugh at these bugs and not let them get in the way. I was not even bothered much with the bugs on release. I did and still do have other issues though.

I use the "none lethal" firearms mod on a gun which I only use when I'm not allowed to kill anyone (some missions, cyberpsycho etc) and, as long as you don't hit/shoot/stab an enemy who is already down unconscious, they won't die.

Regina wont be happy with you at all if you kill them and will berate you and I believe that her cash reward is lower if they die but I don't think there is any other reward difference for the looted body.

It does remind me a bit, had thought that already. Things like the locked doors/cabinets, security cameras, tranq darts and if I'm being sneaky, the stopping to take in the movement paths of enemies.

In CP77 pre 2.0 when I was grinding through some NCPD events at an early to mid-game level it was a bit tedious at times. A loop of breach>ping>do one thing with limited RAM>stealth kill>rampage mop up every else that got alerted. But I did enjoy it, had to remember to mix it up and just go in blazing sometimes, grenade everyone and slash the rest :D

Bit different now at >level 50 + legendary; but as you say TNA next playthrough needs to be at Hard or above!

Yep. That was my Starfield experience also.
Starfield is the bug :p

I've never given them the chance to live, I paid for my epic weapons, I'll use them to full effect!

You do have weapons and perks that are non lethal though so you could use them.

Ahh. "Non-lethal" firearm mods, another new one me to research!

Yeah I've used non lethal for a while now for low level gonks, it makes it satisfying to double tap them after when I'm looting their corpses and come across some still breathing my air :D

:p

Still find it funny though after all the bugs you went on about in Starfield for your baby Cyberpunk to still be infested with them after nearly 3 years of post release dev time

There's a massive cavern of difference between the two games for bugs though. They both have many, but only one actually still engulfs you in a strong story, strong characters in every quest, you can actually drive vehicles, the graphics are worthy of the performance demands, need I go on, the listis extensive ;)
