*** Cyberpunk 2077 ***

It blows my mind how I can easily play this on my STEAMDECK

Game runs really good without RT or anything, I wouldn't play it without those unless forced like on my Ally.

On another note, has the 2.0 update made the game easier? I started a new save just prior to update 2.0 and was playing through a bit I remembered was much harder than it was last night?

Don't think it changed the difficulty. I assumed you checked your gameplay settings to see if the patch messed with your difficulty level.

What settings should I be playing this on with my PC, is raytracing a no go still. Sorry I'm asking basic questions I built this pc on Tuesday and still not sure how capable it is yet with demanding games.

I'd assume with a 7900XTX everything to the max (Psycho) and path tracing enabled and then FSR 2.1 (Or 3 does it even support it?) on.

Enemy difficulty now scales with your level, maybe before you were under leveled for the area you were in?

i have came across a bug which is stopping me from getting the achievement Mean streets complete all gigs and NCPD scanner hustles.
its a reported crime table scraps i have went back to a earlier save where i can attempt it again but they dont drop the item needed is there anyway i can get the required item ?

Yours?

What bit is different about the skill system? Just restarted so probably haven't hit what you're typing about.
And what mod did you get to 'fix' it :)
Thanks

The dialogue skill checks that sometimes appear, where you need X amount of an attribute (6 body etc. ) to be able to select the option. The level required now scales with your character level in 2.0. For example being able to push a dumpster out of the way used to require 6 body at any level. Now if you're say level 10 it'll be 6 body but if you're level 11 it'll be 7 body, level 12 and 8 body etc. At level 5 I could fix my own car or talk to someone about theirs. At level 10 though I've forgotten how to repair my car, as the check requires a higher level.

It means as you progress and experience more, you actually become dumber and weaker. It's an intentional change by the Devs and I think it's to force people to specialise in a single path.

The mod I grabbed was "Bypass Dialogue Skill Checks" which allows all dialogue options to be selected regardless of your attribute levels. While it's running I've not had a chance to see it in action yet. A lot of mods were broken for a few days since the recent patch, while the master script library mods(Red4ext etc.) are updated.

I think in 2.01 they altered the skill checks scaling with level.

Just in case: Most of the framework mods have been updated this morning. CET was done a couple of days ago and redscript, Native UI and Mod Settings didnt need patching)
