*** Cyberpunk 2077 ***

what about the classic: Police cars are about to leave a scene. You are in your car, still, not moving. The little piggy drive into you, cause AI and driving doesn't go hand in hand, and whoopti doo you got 1 or 2 starts and cops everywhere blasting your pretty face.

Still happens now lol, cops will randomly attack me if i look at them the wrong way!

Yeah I've noticed that. They just randomly starts to eyeball you.. It always ends the same way for me with maxtec, or whatever the super cops are called, trying to hunt me down. Currently 40-50% of my time in the game is beating super-piggies in a silly hope that they will eventually give up. Night City always looks like a War Zone when I'm done. It's bloody good fun throwing them around like projectiles :D.

Over 70 hours into this game but find myself constantly playing with the graphics settings and I still haven't figured out what's going on. I have an AMD 7900X CPU, GPU is a 3090 and 32GB DDR5 RAM. With everything maxed out I'm getting high 40's but occasional drops into low 30's, which causes stuttering. If I enable DLSS then it doesn't really help FPS, it just lowers GPU usage. That makes sense in my head as it will be rendering at lower resolutions and therefore it's logical that it becomes CPU bottlenecked. What doesn't make sense is I tried leaving DLSS and any other form of upscaling off (i.e. no DLSS/FSR/XESS) and lowering the graphics settings and it still doesn't improve FPS... it just lowers GPU usage.

I definitley don't have any form of FPS cap and every other game runs fine, so I'm pretty confident it's not my system. All drivers and my BIOS is up to date... anyone got any idea what's going on, is this game CPU bottlenecked at 1440P?

You didn't mention if you were running Ray Tracing or not but I'm running 4k native with every setting max'd out, NO Ray Tracing and DLSS at Quality on a stock AMD 5900x and stock RTX3080 with 32GB DDR4 and I'm getting more FPS than you do at 1440p. Even with RT on @ Psycho I'm still getting "playable" 30fps with no stuttering.

That suggests to me that maybe something's not "right" at your end and that, rather than being an in-game setting, I would suggest you check your Nvidia driver settings incase something there has been set which overrides the games settings.

No RT

Yes I have RT on. Benchmarks don't look too bad, results without and with DLSS are here:

RT: Ultra; DLSS: Off

RT: Psycho; DLSS: On results are pretty much exactly the same as RT: Ultra; DLSS: On so won't bother with the screen shot.

It's generally ok in game but with stuttering where FPS seems to drop and recover. It's obviously not terrible considering how many hours I've put into this game, it's just something I thought I'd be able to sort with setting tweaks... just found something suggesting it could be to do with high polling rate on mouse, I'll try lowering it and see if that helps when I play this evening...

This lady needs... help

Also, installed a few new mods which improve quality of life, like adding cats to your Dogtown pad which you can pet :D

This area definitely shows the clear enhancement from ray reconstruction on vs off, quite a big fps gain too:

The clean fidelity is just something else:

And lastly, this subtle Judy mod is appreciated :p

Don't think there is a mod pack of sorts, just install what takes the fancy from nexusmods.

Out of curiosity, would you mind posting which mods you have installed ??
:o Bit late to reply!

The list currently looks like this:

I think this is @TNA 's fav mod though:

Well, I for one have started a new play through and have thoroughly enjoyed this game. The main storyline and side quests have got me hooked.

The graphics are stunning as well which helps :)

I've started using the perks a lot more on this play through to suit a particular way of play and that has definitely added to the experience as has the re-vamped inventory menu's etc, all of which have lead to a more 'immersive' way of play. I'm yet to install any mods or anything, but that may be next!
