*** Cyberpunk 2077 ***

That looks amazing, I like the current colour scheme and lighting but this is another level if it works. Shame the high requirement will limit most people though, unless 4090s drop drastically in price soon

It's only going to drop that low if the 5080/5090 come in at a competitive price vs a retail 4090, which we all know won't happen.

Bear in mind that this "look" only applies in certain lighting conditions, so basically only when the sky is overcast at a certain time of day :p The rest of teh time the game with those mods looks like it does for most other people whether on a 4060 Ti or a 4090!

Some of those cars have issues with light leaked through the car itself on shadows as the blue Lambo bit shows. I don't find these videos that wow factor any more since most of us have been using Nova LUT and 4K texture mods for some months now and the game looks just as good if not even better with the combo of the supporting immersive mods like better billboards, density of trash littering the roads, high quality road surfaces, Nova weather system etc.

Check out this GTR and DLS

I don't actually care as I'll still have the 4090 for as long as I have a 3440x1440 OLED, and when that changes I'll just get a 5090 or 5080 whatever doesn't require a new case or PSU lol

The way its done after I properly zoned in and lived the life for 100+ hours kinda left a lump in my throat and i'm not like that with games.

I was laid up with a busted knee over the 2020 "COVID" Christmas when it released and I had to spend away from my family etc so I was probably more open to strong emotions than usual and, after about 130hrs, I did the "leave with Panam" ending and it genuinely felt gut wrenching to realise it was over, there was no more. It felt almost like the empty feeling you get at the end of a real relationship rather than something that was just pixels on a screen and the game ending "effected" me for about 2 weeks even though I knew I could just restart it (but realising it'd never feel the same as the first time) - never ever had a game do anything like that to me before!

had very similar experience being stuck on my own over xmas in lockdown with cp2077 to play. It made it hit in a very different way that it doesn't now on repeat playthroughs. I had to take a couple of days off playing before completing the endings as reality and fiction felt like they where getting really muddled up. Amazing game and I think has had the biggest emotional impact of any game so far, 2nd would probably be ff7 on release way back when.

Yup, that ending hits like a truck. Kudos to the writers and all involved in pulling it off.

Few articles this week stating that as of now, nobody at CDPR is working on anything Cyberpunk 2077 related. Guess this is it, they're working on Witcher 4 and Cyberpunk 2 exclusively.

I suspect we will have a teaser trailer for either of those this Christmas holiday with a release in late 2025. Given it's UE5 only that CDPR are now working with, there's no in-house engine to redevelop, and everything is provided by Epic with a bit of hand holding from Nvidia to integrate all the path tracing stuff.

Looking forward to this.
