Xbox Auto HDR does a better job
Seems the cyberpunk dev's tried to make a auto hdr mode, instead of actually doing actual optimised hdr mapping for the game.

It seems like you were implying that CDPR are doing it to please their independent shareholders... when in actuality the board are pretty much just lining their own pockets.
I'm not on another planet. Its obvious that even after 8 years, they haven't been able to get it running well on the old consoles. The graphics and performance on the base PS4 look atrocious.
I don't know why that is, because it honestly doesn't even look that great compared with other releases. Who knows, maybe they simply don't have the development talent that other studios have, or they sacked all their good coders and splurged all their money on Keanu Reeves instead.
The last gen consoles will be ditched sooner or later, just like always. CDPR could have been one of the first developers to make that decision, concentrated on the PC release, and then released a PS5 and Series X version next year.
Engine might be the problem, the solution to a badly made game isnt to just bypass lower end kit, thats excusing bad development. The first problem is that would have ravaged the budget, because if you remove xbox one and ps4 from sales, then 70-80% of sales are gone.
The performance isnt acceptable on PC either, most people dont own high end 3000 series gpu's. I expect the combined total of all 2000/3000 series gpus is still way under half.
Not in my experience they don't. They will continue to parrot the whole 'you downloaded it' line until you give up.
Plays and feels like an 8 year old game as well, the impression I got after playing for a couple of hours was 'dated'. They should have spent more time on things that matter rather than giving options to make your **** bigger. Who actually wants that? Anyone?
Forgetting the graphics what's the gameplay offering? The shooting feels spongy and off, the movement is more like Fallout 4 than something smooth, the stealth mechanics are janky.
Then there's the graphics, laughably bad textures, locations feel empty. Then there's the bugs, my character got stuck moving in different directions after conversations. Why in gods name is 'x' the action button on Xbox? A is pretty much universally that function, you can probably remap it but why? Just going against the grain for the sake of it.
I said it before the last delay that it was shaping up to be an overhyped turd and sadly that's the case. I won't seek a refund as i'm hoping it'll be much improved when it should've been released - 6 months down the line.
Edit: I appreciate that a couple of hours isn't long enough to fully gauge the game, but in it's current state I have no desire to play longer right now.

I think I'm losing my gaming edge. But 9 hours in and I haven't a real clue what's going on, I do one thing suddenly 3 phone calls and distractions. Just feel like everything it lumped at once.
Comparing this to AC:Van. I certainly prefer that game so far. This might grow on me but I tend to bin anything that's too complicated

Well RDR2 runs at 1080p on the PS4 and looks (currently) a whole lot better than Cyberpunk. So probably that from a start.
Or GTA5 as another example, 1080p and pretty much 30fps on the original PS4.
Same here, I feel like gaming should be fun first and foremost, and any technicality/complication should be entirely optional.

That basically sums my view up too. It feels like it's too complicated at the mo.
That's why I triple save now. Happened on other games so safety first for me.
But I'm not being sucked into the story because I have no idea. I dunno maybe hype has something to do with it.
I didn't like the division due to the hub and all crafting stuff. This feels op to me at least
I think it is quite obvious at this stage that Rockstar have a far more talented team of developers.
RDR2 looks phenomenal, and from what i have read of Cyberpunk, has a far more advanced NPC/AI system.
It is odd, as it seems Cyberpunk doesn't really do anything new/revolutionary in terms of immersion/open world mechanics, or look any better than some previous last gen titles. Therefore, why CDPR are having such issues with it is anybodies guess. Probably should have put some of that Keanu Reeves money towards hiring some better/Rockstar tier developers.

Its an AMD 7850 gpu equiv in PS4? No wonder its struggling with Cyberflunk?
I am tempted to get the game as it will suit my rig at 4K, but all the ridiculous hype has put me off, and its not a FPS is it?
Running this on the PS4 and it does fill me with absolute nostalgia, they got the 90s vibe down with the laggy control and PS2 quality of graphics. I would sum up this game as sub standard version of GTA without the interesting story. Done probably over 1 hour (crashed once) most of it trying to figure what is going on...even got stuck on the tutorial as it lacks any proper guidance.
Currently would give this game 4/10...the graphic really are shocking/glitchy and what you're supposed to do is unclear in the game.
Just 1 of many examples of how bad this game is, I drove off in my car and left half my rear bumper floating in mid air.
