Bit of vague rights quoting and hypothetical pondering. I only did the back as it seemed adequate to keep temperatures just under 100 but with summer coming I'm thinking ill probably have to do the other side which I'm not keen on.

Did they want to see your receipt from the retailer?
How long after arriving with them did they take to turn it around and you get notification that a replacement has been sent out? Mine arrived with them early this morning.
They did want the invoice yes.

I did contact them and they advised I go directly to NVIDIA for a quicker turn around.
Same here. They said they have no stock and couldn't guarantee a replacement.
I never had a GPU die on me ever not even shunt modded ones but then I always have them watercooled running nice and cool.
On the other hand 2 out of my 3 Nvidia laptops died on me with GPU failure but they were running hot.
Trying to keep my current one running as cool as possible and so far so good and it outlasted my previous ones already.
Got my replacement, brand new, boxed, 3080 back from Nvidia today. Took around 2.5 weeks from first contact to me having a replacement. GG Nvidia, GG
