DAoC Origins

Yeah am going to. Already rolled a pally, sorc, warlock and cabby. Used to be a caster for rvr or meat head for pve so stealthers will be somewhat new to me.
 
Don't forget to transfer your RPs between chars, so don't autolevel them all to RR4 and just xfer your RPs before you log onto the next etc.

Aye, but it just means you need to earn one set of RPs per each account, so you have one char you RvRed up to RR11 with, means that every char you make will always be RR11. ;)

Also remember that if you want to transfer RPs from one char to another, the receiving char has to have 0 RPs or it won't work.
 
Anyone here from Llaw Arian or Clan bearhawk? I used to be Etherion on excalibur. Funny enough, I was looking at daoc vids a few days back before stumbling on to this thread.

Missing the RVR, but stopped playing just before SI came out. Hope there is a better rvr mmo soon:(

Yes, I did notice that. Didn't know it was 0rps on receiving char though. Thanks for heads up :)
 
Rolled a scout on genesis, tis' like manning a submarine.. stalking your target(s) until the exact moment to strike appears, then BLAM! :D
 
Solo sorc'ing last night for a blast.. when I wasn't getting fg'ed all the time it was a good laugh, hell even with FG's I managed to mes the entire group, then take out one of them (e.g. their bard) and run like hell once or twice :).

I have a Scout too, and after never having an Alb before I really have come to LOVE Slam :D

P.S. Didn't know about that RP trick, cheers.
 
Aye, slam is great. Though I've not used it yet on gen, the three kills I have had as a scout have either been crit shots + a few rapids to kill a caster, or a cheeky crit shot on a tank with <30% health left.

Did have a kill that made me laugh lots.. tower was under siege, so I stealthed inside. There was one mauler attacking the tower guard, think he was mid, anyway.. he took the tower (with me still inside) then sat down.. one crit shot later and he was dead :p

Had to run from tower guard though.. he hurt!
