Dark Soul's: Prepare to Die Edition (PC)

How far were you? I hate forgetting to back things up, I lost my CV and a Cover Note template when I last reformatted which is going to be a pain to redo :(.

Oh yeah, does anyone have any framerate issues in New Londo? Everywhere else is fine for the most part other than a couple of framedrops here and there but New londo consistently gives me very noticeable lag. It makes an annoying area even more annoying.

NG+ Just started 2nd play through :) I never had any framerate issues I was one of the lucky ones as I have an AMD card and as I understand some have lots of problems with AMD. But you are not alone people do report FPS drops, sometimes all the way through so you are lucky as well really.

Ah, that would be annoying :(. What kind of build was it and what level/stats?

I heard about people having problems with AMD cards (Got a 6950 myself). Glad it's only New Londo then if people are having issues in more than just one place. This game seems to love having frame drops in the most annoying places (Blighttown on Console and New Londo for me :p).

This is the only game i have that i keep coming back to, i play it in small chunks, and its so rewarding to get just that little bit further

Bought Dark Souls today.I've spent 300hours+ on my ps3.
Love this game.Tried Assassin's Creed 2,but this game is just to easy!
How do I access new content?I mean as in the game?all the good staff what was add to pc version over ps3?

You have to kill the Hydra and save dusk (Kill the gold Golem in the little area past the Hydra) and then kill a blue Golem found inside the Duke's Archives (You can't miss it) and you'll get a broken pendant. Go back to where the golden Golem was and there will be a blacky purple aura that you can inspect and it drags you into the new content.

Gwyn done :D:

ok thanks.
how big is this dlc?couple hours or maybe few?

When I did a format to install Win 8 fresh I also forget to backup my GFWL saves lol, so yet another game I have to start from scratch, doh.

I did the same, was positive I had got all my save game files but must have missed this one. Lost a char about half way through but my new char got to the same place within hours of playing. Once you know how enemies work and areas are laid out you can really smash through them.

Think I leveled and upgraded too much for the first play through though as everything is really easy to kill right now. I'm using BK halberd +5 and then either naked with dark wood grain ring or full havels depending on what I'm fighting.

Does NG+ get much harder?

Anyone know the cheapest place to purchase the boxed version of this ?

£20 seems the avg I can find, cheers..

** £14.95 Zavvi ** ignore
