Dark Soul's: Prepare to Die Edition (PC)

I'm really confused with the game options now.
In settings for display I set resolution to 1920x1200 32bit.I've watched clip on youtube.com with 1080p mode and 60fps,and graphic look much better than mine.
So mine question is do I need to install 1080p mode to get more detail graphic?
 
Yeah both together I think as the mods where combined. I'm not sure if you can play online with 60fps, if you do you might get gfwl banned! also there's the issues they list on that site about jumping and sliding down ladders. I'm just using 1080p with 30fps, just takes a couple of minutes play to get used to it.

I don't want to get banned.lol
From where you got inf. that they are banning people for using 60 fps mod?
played the in off-line mode but fps was still 30.how people save the game when the use 60fps mod?

just picked this up during the week really good to play it again. killed the bell gargolyes rung the bell.

Climbed down the ladder and killed the guy at the bottom by mistake :( now time to restart the game

I find Dex builds to be the most fun and seem easier to use in my opinion as slow roll and slow attack speeds that are commonly seen on Strength builds just seem to get me killed more often. I have seen strength/tank builds tank the absolute **** out of some of the more difficult bosses before though and most seem to find the game easier using it, especially with Iron flesh. I hate using magic as a main source of attack but I'll freely admit Pyromancy can feel incredibly OP.

I tend to stay strongly towards a single attack stat on NG and then even it out when in NG+ so I can try out new weapons.

He's not too important as long as you don't **** off somebody you don't want to **** off (like a blacksmith or a covenant you want to be in).
 
What would GFWL ban for the res fix or the 60fps fix. GFWL is dead so I doubt any bans would be handed out, people cheat on GoW all the time and they seem to get away with it.

I've red that dex after 40 doesn't give that much bonus,so that's way I'm
planing spend 40 on dex a leter invest in intelli. but I need more info on that.
What's your exp. on that. how dex over 40 scales?(41-50) with A?
I'll invest for now 15 in int. to get crystal magic weapon for mine uchi which now +12.(got to do some farming to get it to +15).
Magic adj with catystal for now is 180 with Oolacile Ivory Catalyst and spell gives me x1,4.
Milestone with catystal for int. status is 32 with Tin Crystallization Catalyst,which gives 254 magic adj.,but it halves cast quantity from 3 to 1 spell so another thing to consider.
 
I'm pretty sure every stat starts giving diminishing returns after 40 which is why it's advised to stop at 40 for most stats unless you want to go higher for something specific like the Dragon King Greataxe (50 Str) or the Sunlight Spear Miracle (50 Faith). As far as Intelligence builds go I can't really help you there, I've never been fond of using magic of any kind.

Yeah me neither.My opinion is that to enjoy the game in full you have to engage in combat.
I checked that 40-50 dex compartment for my uchi it just gives you extra 5 to demage(40dex-420dem.,50dex-425dem.),so it's not worth it to go above 40.

str.14 is required for uchi,but I want to have so fun with Avelyn with pvp
