Dark web

thats about spies submitting bug reports for vulnerabilities in tor not people taking it down.

Yes I know. It's also evidence that they are active on the Dark Web. After all it was them that created the Tor browser in the fist place. As so much illegality takes place on the Dark Web, your assumption intelligence services like GCHQ and the NSA don't care about it is laughable and ignorant.

:eek::eek::eek:

I cant even understand people using it for illegal substances when you can visit most towns/cities and be offered it these days

because.

The guy could be dodgy as hell.
You have no idea what you are buying.
The price is probably a rip off.
You are not anonymous.

where as with tor you can read reviews, sell crap or tainted goods and you quickly get a bad rep.

even cannabis can be tainted and dangerous so don't do drugs (I'm serious cannabis sprayed with crap to make it weigh more can wreck your lungs)

How do I find this dark and mysterious interwebnet?

I wouldn't recommend it. FBI/CIA were/are apparently watching and tracking the nodes of certain sites. Who went in, what came out etc. So that's enough for a possible place on a watchlist.

Never been on it, only read threads on /b/ and that was enough. It is seriously a nasty place. Without taking proper percautions (disabling Java etc) it's just not worth it.

I did have a look sometime a go just to see what it was all about. It isn't even all that straight forward. Unless you know what to look for / search for, it might even be a while to find a website that is hidden. Also a lot of the ones you will click are usually down.

It isn't worth even trying to see what it is.

doesn't tor have nearly everything disabled by default?

anyway lets face it unless your doing something dodgy you don't really have a reason to use tor

All true however those three could still be very much an issue.

not really it's like ebay you look at the number of deals and the feedback.

people don't risk there rep

wouldn't suprise me at all if some of the biggest sellers were government agencies increasing their budget tbh
