Just found the ignore feature too, same guy added funnily enough

Back on topic, the sheer scope of this game from what I have been reading is very ambitious, they will need a serious team of people to keep on top of potential bugs and issues when the masses are let loose on it.

Only messing..I hope this helps moves MMO's away from the item/level grind which imo is only there to make the game artificially longer so the devs get more money off you. Also makes PVP kind of pointless as it removes any skill element there might have been.

Problem is we don't really know if they've managed to pull it off or if the release will be without hicups.

Ah well I hope so..no way i'm going anywhere near WoW or any WoW clone..so its this, Mortal Online or nothing for me..or some other sandbox in the future

In this case it does...And you know it. I am willing to bet you have played WoW a LOT and got boerd...Now you are in the **** of stage.

We have all been there. Fact is, no other MMO will beat it. Specially not Darkfall, lol.

BTW I never even played WoW but I could tell from the likes of DaoC that I wouldn't like it. The features to me just look like complete crap. Just not my kind of game.

OK some more info for those interested:

MMORPG.com have done an interview with the lead dev. Most interesting point being that a release date will be announced "in the next few days" and he says about beta testers "We're adding more every day, and their numbers will go up considerably in the days to come":

I might well give this a try, I'm kinda fed up with all MMO's nothing has really changed since EQ1 just upgraded. I ain't enjoyed anything completely since DAoC, even WAR which I had high hopes for is a little to similar to the rest. Any chance there will be an OCuk guild for this?

.....also is it available for pre-order anywhere?

Free for all loot, no auto attack everything based on aiming, blood bath pvp, no "Magic stealth to dissapear move" use the terrain to hide. Skill based levelling up, no exp points, the more you use a skill the more skillful your in it.

The game world is massive beyond belief, I don't know how many the server can hold but they were harking at 10k at a time. Just think Ultima online.

That's just off the top of my head.

Hmmm, after all the waiting, nice to see that this game is looking like it won't be vapourware!

I wish it well! More competition is always good, as it inspires other companies to try different things.

Me and my clan are really getting exited now. I love the release date and I hate it - it's good they have one but damn why is it near the end of next month! haha!
