Dashboard Update Today?

The following has changed :

- Improvements to the Xbox Guide.
- Option to retain your saved games when you delete a profile.
- Increased accuracy of "last time played."
- Network configuration improvements for Xbox Live® members in the Netherlands.
- More detailed messaging for unreadable disk or region errors.

Mine would not update either tried 5 reeboots, go and do a network connection test, as soon as it tested the connection to XboxLive it asked me if I wanted to updata or not

I also noticed on the Network Settings page they have added a status bar at the bottom. Dont think that was there before.

I've just downloaded the update, it went to restart. Now it will not start and i have 3 red lights

Check all your connections in the back of the console mate.

Yep, i have done. I've moved it and tried different cables, different power sockets etc Taken the hard drive out then back in, just wont work.

I got the update by following the method posted here by going through the network test.

No doubt its not hitting everybody yet as there will be a lot of folks being updated.

Ooooer, im pretty sure it was just the connector at the back of mine when i had 3 reds. It just wasnt quite in right.

Edit: From major nelson's webbeh -
If you are not getting prompted for the AU, then test your connection to live (System Blade->Netowork Setting->Test Xbox Live Connection) and you’ll get the prompt.
