I've got an F770 bud - will try to get something uploaded somewhere instead of yootoob

@@Boycey2011 - Thinkware F770 if monies is no obstacle. K1S is about a ton cheaper but missing some features as an alternative recommended by others but I can't comment on their performance as I've never had one.
 
Thanks for the suggestions, will have a look at those.

Price isn't really an object as its already going to cost me near to the price of the unit to sort the damage that's been done.

Ideally I'd like side cameras too but think that might be a bit harder to get!
 
Ordered some rubbing alcohol today so I can clean the windscreen properly before sticking the F770 to it. Need to look at the fuses too and find which I'm going to use. Got to pull my finger out and get stuff done!
 
You don't need rubbing alcohol? Just make sure the windscreen is free from ambient film-dirt using a damp cloth and a clean glass cleaning cloth.
 
I'm being a bit over the top/paranoid. I'm in no rush to install it (may be losing my license anyway) and I want to make sure it's 100% clean when I stick it on. Will also be able to use the alcohol for other bits and bobs too!

Didn't relaise how bad my dashcam was until I viewed this idiot pulling out on me.


Time for a new one I think.

It was kinda dusky, but not being able to read even the road signs is not on!
 
No idea why my 770 isn't working in parking mode, asked on the ford owners club and I've been told to use two specific fuses, which I am, changed settings to motion detection and low volts to 11.8, nothing, so ive just switched to time lapse, if that doesn't work then maybe it's the sensitivity ? It's on medium at the moment which is default

Sounds like the wiring to me bud. It should announce 'Parking recording will now start'

If i recall correctly the yeklow and red wires had to be swapped as they wernt like usual color codes cables

Normally you expect Red to be Live and yellow to be igntion - think this is the other way round for some reason lol.

Remember to be patient - most new cars have a 30 second delay before the ignition actually turns off.
 
Finally got my Blackvue DR650S installed into my Golf R with the Power Magic Pro so I have the parking mode as well. Plus I have tethered it up to Wifi so I can remote into the camera anytime and also it will alert me on the phone when someone trips the G sensor over a certain threshold. Also I can dial in using my computer using network streaming protocol as well. I'm impressed with it so far .. hopefully my car will start in the morning lol

Looking at the F770 but this feature of the DR650S is really interesting. Can't decide...
