I could have used one today, almost got side swiped by someone pulling out without checking on the motorway, I was in his blind spot.

London drivers...say no more, grrrrr, taking up my braking distance, cutting in left right and centre.

Mine is now up and running, one thing I notice is that because the field of view is so wide, it can see corner to corner of the windscreen, it is showing the covered up area from the rear view mirror on the right. Need to readjust it a little.

Quality is very good, useful info displayed.

Looks like it needs to be lowered down a bit as it is over exposing because of the amount of sky in the frame.

If that's true, it would be underexposing (not over exposing) because the camera will always try to get to 18% grey (I set exposure compensation to 0), meaning the road section will be dark.

As to placing it lower, be careful with that. Mine is on the passenger side, almost centre between the mirror and A-pillar as high as it can go. If I drop it too much (4cm into pink area), I am in danger of being convicted of Dangerous Driving.

Does that apply to GPS systems as their screen is always on.

That law I think applies to entertainment systems, such as broadcasting or DVDs, not Satnavs. But I don't think you are allowed to display a live feed of recording either, but don't quote me on that, just what i've read from a couple of sources such as YouTube.

It looks really clear still at 2000 ISO.

You don't have to move the camera down, just mount it so its pointing downwards?
