Dawn of War 3 ASUS promotion game key problems

I have the same problem. I haven't bought my graphics card through overclockers (I created a forum account just to reply to this thread).

ASUS Customer support are completely useless. They didn't even bother to read my first email, just gave me a stock reply which said to go to the promotion code website yadadada contact them again if you have problems.

My email stated I didn't receive an asus code from the seller and was contacting them as per their faq.

4 days later they reply send me an asus code. Now I have the invalid serial number error. I'm waiting for a reply from them.

Their promotion website is completely **** too, extremely hard to use. Maybe it's because its German support replying to the email - it appears to be from some german consulting company.

NOT IMPRRESSED. Spent 430 quid from ******.com and have to jump through ******* hoops just to get what was advertised.

I feel your pain. Lets just hope that ASUS roll over and give us the keys we deserve.

It's a shame ASUS (which is a good company that makes great products) has used such underhanded marketing tactics for offering free games that they make as difficult as possible to get.

It's almost lying that they are giving a free game out. You wouldn't believe the trouble I've had trying to get the free products. Firstly trying to deal with E-buyer customer support, who didn't send me the damn nvidia code to claim Ghost Recon Wildlands - that took like 5 days of constant emailing them. And now I have the same problem with ASUS but this appears to be even worse.

I'm going to file a formal complaint against ASUS and see if they can pull their damn finger out of their ass and get their customer support in gear. They need a bloody big shakedown.

I'm going to use their contact form at the following url: https://vip.asus.com/VIP2/Services/QuestionForm?lang=en-uk

then select complaint if I don't see any resolution to this asap. Even after IF I get the key, I'm still going to file a complaint. Companies simply shouldn't treat their customers like this. It's poor on all sorts of levels.

Well, the ASUS customer support phone lines are crap, you literally cannot speak to a person unless you're VIP, which I have no idea whether I am or not! This whole thing about "buying old stock" is bull! How are you meant to know the date of manufacture when you're buying online? Also, the worrying lines that read "while stocks last" and "we reserve the right to charge you 59.99" just add to the frustration!

You're not. That's a BS explanation and one you could counter with the consumer protection act. If I need to, I'll raise a complaint against the seller, as I've not got what was advertised.

Hopefully, there will be enough steam keys to last before the promotion ends or too many people attempt to claim one.

Fingers crossed! Just spoke to Overclockers UK, they've said they had already had a couple of customers ring with this issue. Very kind chap in customer services suggested emailing the address listed on the ASUS promo page which is
[email protected]

Yes, good luck with that, already gone around in circles there. Hoping they can resolve it.

View https://www.asus-promotion.eu/dow3/ then go down to FAQ. Already done all this.

The cynic in me reads this as "we got your message, we can't be bothered to do anything about it, we will add it to our todo list when we can be bothered and when we can be assed we might reply to you".

I hope their meaning was "we will fix our ****** website" and not - oh we might get your your steam key."

Why they don't just email the steam key directly rather than requiring a stupid ASUS code, in order to get your steam key baffles me. They make it as hard as possible so no one claims for it.

just got an email this morning telling me they want this that and the other plus a screenshot of the problem so i went on it to take a screen shot and BAM ! it worked !!! :D

Dunno why it says:

Payment? We want the steam keys. Seriously someone should be fired for the state of this website.

I believe that the steam key is being refereed to as a "Premium" not the "Payment". I do agree that it is all a little vague though.
