freefall i understand it, but its relating it to a financial calculation, iam trying to explain you cant do the following £650 per month * 12= 7800 / 365 then * 7 = £149.50p. if your going to do it that way then you must the daily figure by 7.44 to give me £150per week. But they are saying no there isnt .4 of a day in week.
I hope you see where iam coming from.
But do you get 7800 in your bank at the end of the year? Or are you saying that you are getting paid £650 a month? If it's the latter, then you're fine - no one works out their salary per day.

it was meant to be paid monthly £650 but they said they would pay me weekly, so i thought ok its £150 a week, but the way they calculate it, £650 month x 12 months = £7800 then they divide that by 365 days which gives me a daily rate then * that by 7 which gives me a weekly rate and that what goes in the bank.

so you're getting paid £7800 a year... which is what's on your contract...

what's the problem other than your bad maths?

£149.50 x 52 doesnt work out right BECAUSE THERE ARE NOT 52 WEEKS IN A YEAR!

Do this:

149.50 / 7 * 365.25

What is the result?

so how can i get £7800 in a year if they are putting in £149.50 per week?

Look at my post above - the reason is in bold and underlined for you. Nice and simple ;)
