LOL im telling those people who dont like SA go post in the relevant topics . witcher and the same people just keep saying the mod or arma 3 breaking point if its that good go play them and post in relevant topic threads.

this is dayz standalone not other games.

there is plenty to do last night i had some of best fun in the sa on markers i had in quite a while. why ? i didn't just sit camping areas or balota geared up ran round all the big towns getting involved with battles was great fun.

you all know this is alpha you know updates are coming soon with great features. if you are dissatisfied go play arma 3 or whatever till these features are added.

Let my guard down in a moment of excitement when I finally found some 5.56 rounds for the M4 I had on my character for 3 days. Only for a group of 3 people to hustle round the corner in front of me, tie me up and force feed me bananas and disinfectant. They didn't take any of my stuff, just left me to puke myself unconcious so I had to respawn.

The sum up off crap games made me rebuy world of warcraft lol.

Hate it or love it at least its a polished game that works and doesnt make me want to break my keyboard.
 
I think the point being made isn't that SA isn't currently an incomplete buggy mess its that when getting an alpha stage game, you shouldn't expect it to be anything but a mess. Even if it failed to load / run you wouldn't have cause to complain.

At this time I'd say no, its still buggy and there isn't much in it. However my brother loves it and has already got his £20 back in fun.

Yes, you lose it all.
 
Id say its not worth £20 in its current state as there is not a lot in it at the min..Will be worth it after a few updates, I can also see this bering around the £40 price tag once its completed

If you die yes you lose all your gear start from scratch
 
They've said it will remain £20 for a long time so theres no huge rush unless you want to "be part" of development and see it grow. It has very little content though at the moment and is a bit of a mess.
