game seems pointless when you can gear up on a dead server anyway and take your character with you to another?
SA feels kind of stale for me at the moment without a squad.
Once you've got Best in slot there isn't much too do, I know its alpha but I don't know how people can put so many hours into a game with barely no content yet, I miss the variety and 'toys' something like epoch or overwatch brings.

I find it really odd that weapons and items that were in the mod and base game are not in the standalone.
It's as if it's all been removed so they look good when they add it in a patch.
Probably to detract from the fact that every patch so far has actually broke the game more than it's fixed it.

If that turns you on then sure.
It's too do with the customisation for the weapons. A friend told me there wasn't any of that sort of stuff in the mod.
I'm playing it to get used to the landscape to make it easier to get about without a map and or compass.

Good to see they have fixed this since the mod...
is that all this thread is going to be for the next year ? oohh they should have fixed that its getting boring . this isn't the mod its a alpha. its been released how long ?

People can say what they like m8, we are not all as happy as you that after all this time every single bug from the mod exists and then a ton more. Some of the bugs from the mod are so game breaking you might as well not play it. So in the past year or so they have worked on graphics and the new inventory system. No loot no zeds, 3 weapons? No tents. The performance is pants.
I was expecting at least respawning loot seeing as it is a loot driven game and PBO fix. Not much to ask over the past year no? The PBO fix is freaking insane and I for one will not play and help fix new bugs until people can all see grass and trees....... Other hacks and stuff well we have to expect that as it is still arma but not the PBO issue that can be fixed very easily.
You can go and fanboy all you like, people who are a little miffed can post as much as they like as well.
i don't mind if people have issues but some will just repeat the same **** 24/7 for the next year.
one guy in here for eg went on for a year on about rocket and how bad the game was and he had never even played it !
so yes if you have issues share it but its a alpha bugs are going to be common.

What you are going on about means diddly-squat tbh and people really don't care. We know what he meant and can live it, seemingly you can't but you need to move on.
