***Dayz: Stand Alone Thread***

OMG someone call Lucas arts get the kid signed up. Yep everyone will totally steal that amazing idea.
Before you report me I'm not trolling you that's my view on wasting 3 minutes of my life on that complete crap.

Frankie and jackfrags you certainly are not.
 
I saw a video 2 days a go where someone jumped from the top of the new high rise tower blocks and survived because they hit a tree before the ground.
Think it was Dayz SA Mythbusters :)
 
Thought I'd give DayZ another blast as when the SA was first released I kept losing my character! Guess what? It's still happening! Every time I change server I lose him. Is there supposed to be some kind of time gap before I can log onto another server to stop losing my character?
 
For the love of god when are they going to add something to do to standalone. Can't even collect weapons, no zombies, tents anything!

Long time supporter of Dayz and even being a Dev myself I wonder what the hell they are actually doing over there in prague. Add something!
 
wasting your time i said i was going to meet you at flats above churno but i couldn't get as i was busy with something else which i told u :rolleyes:

also si lad i was the first to make the jump in SA from the flats ;). the dayz mythbusters was after ;) its episode 2 .

spils as usual nothing but sillyness. also you do know jack and frankie get stuff given to them in dayz since start LOL.that's why people who know how to play don't rate them ;) . there vids are entertaining though.

I dont think i would have the balls to try that while kitted out, especially with my long range scope which are very rare.

Enjoyed that video, dont know why others are always negative towards you, everything you do there negative. I have not read the whole thread as im kinda new here. Are you an ******* or something as you seem not to be liked hardly at all although i cant see any problems with your posts.;)
 
its cool to hate dg on here...(funny thing is none on here know me at all , all assumptions).

i posted a video of stuff that hardly anyone has every done in the world ! i was the 1st ! first comment and on my youtube from ocuk troll :p then they say its my fault ! just shows you how petty some are.

rockets on youtube today playing with one of the big gaming magazines.

you logging in a same build server or hardcore or regular server?

Thank you DG for the insight as always, but yes I'm fully aware almost everything they do in Dayz is setup for camera and that the game doesn't really play like one of Frankie's videos.

Obviously not all of us are world famous Youtubers... So on the odd occasion I actually get to meet someone in Dayz, when I say "Hey dude, I'm friendly". It normally ends up with me seeing the "You Are Dead" screen. Instead of "OMG its Frankie here Frankie have all my gear". Cant see how you and your pro Dayz friends would look at it any other way? I don't think Frankie is really trying to act all pro, its just part of the story on many occasions he's admitted to not even being that good, hes just acknowledges he's better than a lot of Dayz player who think there Pro Bandits.

You should be thanking the dude anyway. Bringing you at least half a million Bambi's to kill on sight, down on the coast. :D

Anyway dude I was just trying to offer you some advice on the video, after all you did build it up to be a masterpiece. Brilliant voice, great story and a pleasure to watch. You should take notes. Your video was lacking all the above. Thats why Frankie hits 500k - 1 million views in 24hours and you end up throwing your self off a building for 3 minutes.

Anyway I've just come off one holiday, due to you. I'd rather not take another its bad for my friendly rep:cool:

I was 100% holding it in my hands at the time. I'm not sure if it was in my rucksack or my trousers, or if I was just pleased to see you. You have me thinking now and how it all happened.

Gives me an idea for a video. Anyone in ? Its going to be the best video ever. :D

though the video content pretty much sums up SA content at the minute. empty and pointless.

it's so boring even the mahoosive fans of the game have resorted to making vids of themselves jumping off buildings just for something to do :p

Not sure why but I'm get mad flickering with low frame rates in the towns, more noticed with FXAA and grass. I used to get 50fps+ in villages now it's near 35!

Haven't played the game in a month so..

EDIT : This isn't the same flickering you get with a dodgy texture!
