***Dayz: Stand Alone Thread***

I've just started Breaking point for Arma 3 and not knowing the controls all over again, need a mapper for a nostromo!!!

Also it's just like the DayZ mod where people shoot on sight no matter what you do or if you can't be bothered mic-ing up.
 
I may have to find overpoch - is it something you can just spawn and play without having made up a massive base? I haven't played since... ages ago... I really wanted this game to be ready now but it's still poop?

Add me to steam, same username as here, have a group of 6 I regularly play with on BP. Have over 500 hours invested on BP.

If you play the classes as they should be and avoid hunter (noob class), most people will not shoot on site.

fps is actually worse than when it was first released. whats even more funny is there is worse fps with no zombies in :confused:

so they managed to make performance even worse and remove zombies.

quite a achievement.
 
After so many in this thread shouted me down time and time again when I said the devs looked like they didn't know what they were doing and nothing would ever become of SA right back when it first surfaced... Well, well, well... *smug mode activate*
 
Still waiting on the renderer presonally. They said May but I had an inkling it would take a hell of a lot longer. New Graphics, UI and sound engines coming in .59, should be in time for Christmas.
 
Yeah I am playing exile mod at the moment. Had a go on dayz stand alone the other day and I can't believe how little progress has been made this year. It's shocking. By final release (if it ever gets there) it will be so outdated.

I think £20 was a fair price to learn never, ever go Early Access / Pre-Order ever again.

The moment Rocket started to distance himself from the SA, the writing was on the wall.
