Is there any news on a Dayz 2 in the works?

Surely they'll keep it quiet till they can say some rubbish about using a new engine which will eradicate some of the main issues they had in the first one.

The new engine is kinda half used in current DayZ already..

Enfusion engine draws all the graphics, as well as the Enfusion animation system and the Enforce scripting language. The old engine, Real Virtuality, does the rest.

Arma Reforger already use the Enfusion engine.

DayZ 2 was leaked revealed in an FTC vs Microsoft court hearing. This is from 2023.
