Haha one night I killed 17 people whilst camping the balota sniper hill with a 12x scope on a moisin! Epic fun! It is a shame you can't carry a moisin and an m4 at once though.

The game don't change then, I am of the ilk that you can play anyway you like and don't mind the group campers but I don't see the point, I myself like to run around in the open and get picked off quite regularly and start all over again.

There's about 6+ military bases or military areas.

Damn, no more hides? Shame i used to avoid the bases like the plague they were always camper zones. You could load up on decent weaponry elsewhere with patience.

Honestly, it is just me or does anyone else not notice this?

I have no doubt that my fps drops, but not to the extent that the ARMA engine isn't playable!

I tend to get 60 - 80 fps outside of cities and 45 ish in cities. Its still more than playable even at 45 fps, just be nice if it didnt drop that much so I could up some graphic settings.

Probably just me then. I am glad you can play in those cities but others have complained about dropping GPU usage within major cities... and even smaller ones. Now that almost every building is enterable and therefore contains loot, it does make it harder for systems to cope. I guess with high spec systems with CF/SLI, the drop in usage doesn't cause as much of an issue.

But you have to admit, GPU usage dropping when you need it most is bloomin' stupid? No?

What is your system, Marker, btw?

After last night's combatlog+kill on me, I have put DAYZ to one side. I almost put my fist through my screen lol

I don't have a high end system or sli, so not sure why I don't really see a major drop in fps
