Me and 2 mates had an incident earlier. one was about to open fire on 2 other guys and as I started to make my way over 2 of us got crashed at the same time leaving our friend to be shot to death.

What got me was these 2 players must have spawned in behind my friend who got shot (sever hoppers?) which I get but why did 2 /3 of us get a game lockup?

Killed a guy with a crowbar that must have been AFK,He was loaded..large backpack,vest,nice weapon etc

..im a Dayz noob and know i wont last 2 seconds when i come across someone else thats armed.

Are these items rare?

hi guys, ive only just started playing dayz in the last day or 2 after a friend telling me about it. im liking it a lot so far but keep getting killed by people with weapons even though i surrender, slightly annoying to say the least. which servers to you guys use? im hoping to jump on it in a minute and would be great to go around with a few of you.

Well I've just jumped on the OcUK server pretty well kitted out and got dropped at Balota Airstrip ... guess I've gotta start again but that's part of the fun right ..?

Nope, no way of doing that yet.

You can restart the server without making it timeout ingame, also have a notice 5 minutes before the shutdown broadcast

There are no tools to do that yet Traffic, Dayz SA doesn't use BattleEye, therefore no Rcon into it using the standard tools.. All we can do is, if an ad min is on the server and notices the time, then announce over global that it will be restarting. I managed to do it once yesterday.

Do you guys all chat via the game chat or use another method? Actually played for over an hour and didn't die but also didn't meet anyone. And have no idea where I am. How hard are maps to come across?
