Some new screens.

Matt Wagner said:
Attached are four new DCS: A-10C Warthog screen shots that show off some of the Nevada range, new squadrons markings, and payload options. This is still very much WIP.

We are currently in the process of converting to DX11, so aspects of the game are not looking so great during this transition. After the conversion is done and the game is looking good again, I hope to create the next video note.

The A-10C upgrade for the USAF included the Litening II Targeting pod, which allows for the use of Laser guided and GPS bombs as well as Forward looking Infra-red (FLIR) and CCTV. I'd expect it to be light years ahead of the Ka-50.

Today we have some work-in-progress screen shots of Nellis AFB from the Nevada map. Although still under development with a fair amount of work still to be done (object placement, lights, and texture debugging), it's at the point that you can get a feel for the base and level of detail.

Yes, that's also a new F-15C model for DCS.

Unlike most other aspects of DCS: A-10C, the Nevada map has been a joint project between the Eagle Dynamics team, luckybob9, and Zimster.

If you want 6dof in Lock ON too you need to edit one of the config files, specifically Server.lua. I've put mine up for you to try here --> http://www.mediafire.com/?jv9npk74932vkgu

Download and copy to X:\LockOn Flaming Cliffs 2\Config\View Remember to back up your original server.lua first.

This "fix" for 6Dof was originally part of another Mod, I just can't remember which one

Ah thanks buddy good of you to take the time m8 cheers looking forward to having a play :)

ps.I never knew there was such a config i just do not to seem to have the time for looking at the lockon forums as much as i would like,i see your name on them now and then, thx again.

Happy to help. As with most stuff for Lockon FC2/DCS if there is something you want them to do, there is usually a config file for it somewhere. However do note that nearly all online servers do an integrity check of important files, so backup everything you change.

I've got an E8400 @3.5ghz and an ATI 4890. Which for me is fine, but to be honest if you are thinking of upgrading for a specific Sim or Sims, I'd say wait until they are out then make a informed decision.

With DX11 on the way for Warthog, I may consider upgrading, depending on the benefits. But otherwise I'm happy with what I have.

Some reading for you... http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/HIS/HD_5770/30.html

Naturalpoint have to update their software to cope with 64bit applications. I think they were caught off guard by ED's Open Beta.

It not much of an issue anyway as you can use the 32bit Warthog until it's addressed.

NaturalPoint - Seth said:
Hi all,

I just spoke with one of our lead developers, and he confirmed to me that TrackIR development will be starting up very soon. 64-bit application interoperability will be the first item on the list.

Thanks for your patience. We'll hopefully have something out to you guys to play with pretty soon.
