Sounds like a faulty card to me.

Just used MSI Afterburner to up the clocks to 725/1450/1775 and ran heaven a few times, average fps has gone up to 52.5 with a 1323 score. Not too shabby seeing as it didn't go above 68c either.

Received my card this afternoon. Very pleased with performance so far though I have two quick questions!

In MSI afterburner I'm not getting an option to adjust the voltage, though i can change everything else, any ideas how to enable this?

Also is there a possibility that my CPU is bottlenecking the new card?

got mine today as well but the damn thing would appear to be faulty, seemed fine until I tried the 3dmark 06 or heaven benchmarks which it just crashes out of, ran kombustor and locked up with a corrupt display with black squares all over the place :(

It's in the settings. Unlock voltage or something

Go into settings/general,safety properties, then check unlock voltage control.

Which driver version are you running, the latest official 266.58 works fine with afterburner 2.0.

I finally got mine up and running :)

Was a right pain to install, the thing is massive*. I couldn't close the retainer clips on my case to hold the card since the cooler blocks them, so I had to use screws. Also it really squashes my SATA cables which are right next to the back of the card (I have a p35 MSI NEO2 board in a Coolermaster 690 case).

Just ran the Heaven benchmark (1900x1200, 4AF, no AA) and got 45.4FPS and 1145 points. With tesselation on normal it drops to 36.8FPS, 927pts. So I more than doubled my score on my 8800GT with like for like settings :)

Looking good, run a few benchmarks to test for stability, two that were reccomended to me were dirt2 and lost planet 2, run them on the highest settings at your res, both will give the card a good workout.
 
Well crysis/crysis benchmark are also very good tests, never used kombustor myself but ive heard/read that FAH can be a pretty stressful app to run. Load temps are very impressive btw.
 
wow awesome deal, and i thought the current £170 price was good. are they likely to go back to £145 again soon? i was thinking of extending my overdraft just so i can get one at £170! will i be wasting my money as theyre gonna go down anyway???

i see the 480 has gone up to £220 now... Booooooooo

please help
