My Wife 1.0 no longer accepts floppy disks...

What shall I do?

1) Install a large hard drive?
or 2) Obtain an external usb stick and make use of both the front and rear interface?

What can I do?

I would suggest upgrading your system to use a Hard Disk. Using a Floppy disk as ones primary interface can be an extremely traumatic experience. From your system log I can see that not only is your disk of the floppy variety but it is also only 1.44mb in size. This will cause all sorts of issues. In future be sure to read the minimum requirements on the packaging. Wife 1.0 needs a minimum of 6gb just for installation with 8gb being the recommended specification of your disk.

Absolutely fantastic mate! I replied before you edited that part in. My answer pales in comparison to that! :D

Try this gordy

Youngandfree1.3

This product should help with the girlfriend1.0 issues and revert all problems back to DrinkingMates 4.2. This coupled with Palmelahanderson 10.0 should help.
I find that all successive versions of Pamela Anderson since version 3.4C have been bloated and full of unnecessary additions. What's more, they are prone to causing overheating, which leads to melting and drooping silicon.

Indeed, the technology used in PamelaAnderson is becoming a bit long in the tooth now. It has had far too many upgrades tacked on to be considered useful in any way. Besides, a lot of the applications source code can now be found on the web for free. I recommend gathering the parts you require and compiling your own version.

I tried installing my copy of Girlfriend 1.1 onto a friends Girlfriend 1.0 and use both at the same time, sadly this resulted in system incompatibilities and the results were devastating and caused a total system shut down that was only repairable by removing both copies.

Does anyone know if LotsoAlchol4.6 would have allowed the two to be used at the same time? It's something I'm keep to get working.

It is quite possible. Why not consider a dual boot strategy? By installing different versions of "Girlfriend" on seperate partitions you should be able to minimise any overlap and have a trouble free system.

However if you are determined to get the seperate versions to work in unison I have heard that a small emulator called "Rohypnol 2004" is available on the underground file-sharing scene. Beware however that there are legal issues with the use of such software, I will not be held responsible should you have a system wide failure that not even "TopLawyer 9.8" can solve.

Alcohol110% I believe is waht you're looking for.

Has anyone got a trial key for Girlfriend 3.1 as I'm perfectly happy with it (even with the restricted version of TidyHouse 2.0 - I find HouseKeeper Pro to fill in most of the missing functionality, I can live with the rest). I'm sure my trial version of Girlfriend3.1 must be coming to an end as I keep getting a nag box recommending an upgrade to Wife 1.0.

Thanks in advance.

Hmm, I had similar problems with JennyMcCarthy 3.4DD on my system, which I now consider to have been programmed in a low level language. I upgraded to ElishaCuthbert 32.C, which I found had a more sophisticated and simply laid out structure.

I did however have some compatability issues with CherylTweedy 3.2C. This program would become aggressive and start attacking ElishaCuthbert 3.2C. It would also start up any media player and play some incomprehensible music.

After some hard bashing I wrote my own 'lite' program, which is in it's beta stage. I'm very happy to release this under the code name 'ChantelleCBB 0.6'. However, ChantelleCBB 0.6 does have some low level memory problems.

I believe "Girlfriend 3.1" has some serious copy protection does it not? A key is not all that is needed. I would be happy to interface my USB dongle with your copy of Girlfriend 3.1 and give it a thorough licensing. Once I am done I am confident your copy of "Girlfriend 3.1" will no longer give you nag screens asking you to upgrade to "Wife 1.0" . However traces of my dongle usage may be left in your system.

I received an email from the makers of DrinkingLads 4.2 for a free trial of LadsNightOut 3 expansion pack. I was fooled into using the "ExclusiveGentlemensClub" (aka Brothel) 2.9 "service" pack after using Alcohol120% for several hours. This software installed one of the personal assistant type app's called Prozzie4.9, and relocated all my data to SleazyHotelRoom6.5, where I proceeded to crash.

8 hours later I finally recovered from the crash and found Prozzie4.9 had uninstalled itself, luckily I had clicked "No" to any of the services offered, but I was left with a £1,700 defecit from my resources after it all.

My advice is to not be fooled into trying the ExclusiveGentlemensClub expansion..

My Wife 1.0 is a dual o/s version. Hetro XP and Lesb 3.1. (Often referred to as Bi-S-EX)

Lesb 3.1 is Read-Only but Wife 1.0 does hold administrator privilages to change the settings should Husband 2.0 (me) crash.

My previous post about Wife 1.0 no longer accepting floppy disks has got me a little worried.

I will of course install the large hard-drive and obtain a large capacity USB stick.

Are there any upgrades or patches available to ensure Lesb 3.1 no longer boots?

Whilst I appreciate the offer, I'm fairly sure that this is against the original licence agreement I agreed to (clicked through :(). Whilst the nag box is annoying it's not as bad as the PamelaHanderson2.1 days and dealing with INT 21 problems on a shared resource. Looks like I'll just get good at clicking the "Not Today" option.
