Decent game controller?

It doesn't look all that but I've found it functions great really, a little loose but still works all fine.

Why you'd want wired over wireless would be beyond me, though. :)
I can think of about 14 reasons for the Cyclone 2

Cheers, thats what i thought. It's not for me, my daughters boyfriend doesnt like wireless controllers for some odd reason!

8bitdo do a wired one, Xbox pad shaped too.

Thinking about grabbing a Gamesir G7 Pro to replace my standard Xbox controller which has developed stick drift. Anything I should be aware of for playing games on Steam / PC ? I know you have to install the Gamesir Nexus app, but how does this interact with Steam ( and by extension steaminput ) ?

Received my G7 Pro today. Initial impressions are good. Feels somewhere inbetween a standard Xbox controller and the Switch 2 Pro Controller in terms of weight & comfort. Sticks are light & precise. The d-pad is really mushy ; not a deal breaker for me as the games I play don't rely heavily on those inputs. The software app for programming controls ( Gamesir Nexus ) is excellent and provides a lot of flexibility. Time will tell whether durability is an issue or not but the controller doesn't feel cheap or poorly constructed. Really like the charging dock with included bay for the wireless receiver - innovative !

So my 8bitdo Ultimate (purchased 2nd hand originally) has had the fabled issue of sharp plastic cutting into the membrane of the right trigger. I am temporarily using a Nintendo Pro controller on my PC and it's sent my muscle memory bonkers. Question is do I struggle a long for a bit and wait for the new steam controller or do pull the trigger in Gamesir G7 Pro.
PC is a Bazzite Steam Deck based build not windows, which makes me feel I should wait!
