Decent game controller?

I use the default deadzone setting on my Crush Defender, otherwise it moves when you breathe on it lol.

With the Back To School sale on AliX I bagged a Tarantula Pro for £28, and a G7 Pro for £59. Interested to try them both against my Cyclone 2 after @mrk positive reviews.

Ah nice, I gave my Tarantula Pro to my bro recently as I am using the G7 Pro full time unless iut's a Sony game where the adaptive triggers and touchpad are usable in which case I use the Phantom (DualSense Edge basically)

G7 Pro shows £67 for me after applying the coupon.
Do you have coins and used the coins page? Have you followed Gamesir Store for extra 1% and also have their follow promo coupon? Those are the things that make the difference.

Yes, I think it's just weird with pricing showing different prices to different accounts.

@mrk what is your faceplate on your G7 Pro? Transparent Black?
No it's the white version I have but have just ordered the transparent black faceplate, coloured anti friction ring inserts and black stick caps:

not sure how I got a discount making them all £0, but I won't be throwing a fit about it :p

So I thought it must be because of some coupons you had @mrk. Nope I put an order in also and yep £0.01p delivered!

Hah nice, mine shipped this morning. Some things are free after all!

It's also an awesome controller, and ironically, better build quality than the DualSense ones costing over £200!

My review of the Phantom won't be up until the weekend). It performs great as expected, but the plastic quality and rigidity isn't as tough or creak-free as the much cheaper G7 Pro.

I already have the Cylone 2, is this THAT much better? as it is £75. Not cheap, even for an official controller from a 1st party. For a 3rd party one, it is rather pricey.

I had the Cyclone 2 and really liked it but the switches feel better on the G7 Pro plus I like the extra shoulder buttons too as am making custom use of them along with the shift layer feature. The d-pad especially as I felt the Cyclone's d-pad felt a little thin whereas this is all fine now. The optical ABXY buttons also have nicer feel now. The rubberised underside of the grips is also nice.

Whether all the refinements warrant the extra cost will be subjective though of course.

I guess I'll pass, I got far too many controllers to know what to do with lol Even after giving away the 8bitdo ultimate to my nieces.

Vs the X10? Much better.

There is a new Easysmx controller coming out very soon too, the X05 Pro. Should be arriving in a few days. IT's not TMR or anything so isn't aimed at high end like the G7 Pro, but should be cost effective too.

I think you have sold the g7 pro to me now as well! :p Been using the x10 since you posted about it.

Where is cheapest to buy it?
