I think that's more than I paid for the whole game :/

They have me puzzled but then I'm very much in Sol Survivor mode. Played the 1st map and beat it with a silver medal.....I was disgusted with myself!!!
OK, just got my gold medals on the first 6 expansion maps. My thoughts with possible spoilers although they will be obvious as soon as you start the map.
Map 1 - Service Interruption. Difficult map. You have to let the aliens get the cores and shot them on the way out.
Map 2 - Height of confusion. Easy, very Easy. Completely open map. Anyone who can't do this needs to go back to freecell
Map 3 - Risk Exposure. Another Difficult map. Two routes in, two routes out, fortunately the towers tend to shoot the correct aliens.
Map 4 - Roundabout. Even more difficult than the last map. This was the last one of the 6 I completed. Lots of routes through the map, you need to get the aliens to go the way you want, not the way they want
Map 5 - Urban Planning. Tricky. In this map more than any other you need to know what's coming. My solution involved doing something that you try to avoid on all other maps.
Map 6 - Tactical Diversion. Tricky. Another relatively open map, give the aliens the scenic tour.
The more I play Defense Grid the more I fall in love with the Temporal Tower, a nice force multiplier for all your other towers. As my second favourite is the Command Tower I am getting worried I am getting soft

I bought this game on release because the trailer looked that good lol (cost £5) best thing ive bought off steam, GTA:LC, UT3 and the Orange box havent provided as much hours of fun lol

According to the official Steam forums, the 50% off the map packs is a mistake. The developers wanted 50% off the game and Steam accidentally applied it to the map pack.
This has been corrected now so everyone who doesn't have this game should but it now. No excuses, just buy it ffs

Same here, almost 450 hours played. Just finished the new maps last night and found them very easy.
The devs have said that there will be no multiplayer added sadly.
Sol survivor has a multiplaer side to it which I highly recommend and can be had in the sale for £4. The game is well worth getting but don't bother with the demo, it's pants and a bad indication of how good the game is.

Nice... i'll probably be giving it some play when i go to my gfs in August so i might not be on it till then. Sol Survivor is great, though the survivor levels are evil.
Just started playing this today, put in a couple of hours and liking it so far. I've played a flash based tower defense game before which was fun but this is a bit slicker, got voiceovers etc. Definitely don't begrudge the £1.40 asking price even if I end up getting bored of it.
