Another thing that i noticed about this baby is that in its chest, its as if the skin has ripped open.

Im now beginning to think this baby is fake, where the skin seems very thick and rubbery. On his right side, just below the chest, the "skin" has broken. Real skin doesnt break like this. Surely?

Reading the thread before posting? Are you insane? What a novel concept!

It's a little bit left-of-field, I know...But...I think that reading threads before posting could be the future.

Thinking outside the box for a moment, we could also, quite possibly....Tell me if I'm being a bit extreme here...not act like complete noobs from time to time.

There really isn't much point in posting why it happens or why the skin looks like that because no one's actually reading any more than the first post of the thread.

Anyhow, there's a not-too-lengthy explanation of cephalic disorders on the following website, which is quite informative. LINK If anyone apart from Penski is still reading the thread, it's worth reading. There's also THIS ONE.

I really don't think it's going to work. It's just far too radical. However, I'm with you all the way should you decide to start a campaign.

I find it kind of weird at the end of the article about the father saying he has no remorse for the baby's death. Or maybe i'm just picking up on that the wrong way.

He said that he is glad his wife is okay, seems a reasonable attitude to me even if he feels no connection with the baby or isn't willing to admit it yet

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah......*deep breath*......Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah

OH NOES, BUT HAVE U READ *** THREAD!!!!???11

Just because the medical condition exists doesn't mean that the obviously photochopped baby that looks nothing like the poor babies who are actually born with the condition is real.

I don't know if this picture is fake but in my youth when I was more sick than I am now, I used to collect medical journals and these pitures were quite common and photoshopping wasn't around then.

Anyway, thanks for the reminder about the wonderful amazing brilliant funny Dinosaurs series. I've just been somewhere on the net and bought all 65 episodes on 5 DVD's.

But it does look exactly like them. No defined head/fused to neck, bulging eyes, puffy skin. The first photo looks odd, because the baby looks massive, but in the second photo you can see how small it is. Normal baby size. I don't see why someone would bother photoshopping that when there are plenty of almost identical photos on the net of babies with the same condition.

None of the photos look anywhere near as deformed as that. Yes the features are weird but they don't look like they've been made out of wax.

That simply doesn't look like a 4.5lb baby either, it looks a lot heavier.

The baby's fairly small. If the bowl hadn't been there - you can see it'd sit fairly easily in that guy's hand. If it is a joke, it's an incredibly insensitive and uneccesarily elaborate one. Not funny in the slightest.

Luckily these kinds of babies rarely develop any kind of brain, so they are barely alive and don't really need the sympathy - and I can see how the father feels no remorse, I bet seeing that come out of his wife scared the life out of him. And her. How truly miserable to feel disgusted or scared by the child you've been carrying for the best part of a year.

If anyone had visited that rotten site (which doesn't *do* fakes as far as I know) around 1999 or so, I remember there being a load of images of deformed babies in jars. They were morbidly fascinating. This baby is barely unusual compared to some of these.

I think it's disgusting that this thread has lasted three pages, considering the images and links contained.

Apparently this is a family forum.

Oh look, pictures of dead babies.
