Dell U2713 HM

It should be. I have not taken the leads out of the box so not %100 sure but as you need one to run 2560x1440 it should be. Does it have all the pins connected 24+1.

Yep it is a dual link one, the problem was a switch on my 6970 inside near the crossfire bridge!

Frustrating to say the least, Having had it on for 20mins I cant say ive noticed any buzzing of any kind.

Just played 5mins of warcraft, jesus never realised how much more vibrant an IPS panel is, looks stunning.

I must have a faulty one. It's a pain as I have now sorted out the colour and it looks ok.

I'm going to have a play with it today and see how it goes. At the moment I'm still prefering the two 23" 1080p screens over a single 1440p.

I have two 27s, ones the Hanns G though. Seriously considering getting another 2 of these though, ** No competitor price talk **

I have some ambient noise in my room, but I have put it on a solid white background with text and had my ear to it and cant hear any buzzing. Im usually quite senstitive to annoying whimes and hums from things as well so Ill keep an ear on it!

I don't have the room for two of these. I can just fit a pair of 23" on my desk with arms.

I can hear the Dell buzzing at the back, It sounds the same as bad gpu coil whine. It's quite loud and very annoying.

I need to decide whether to have the Dell replaced or refund and stick with the dual 23" screens.

Problem for me is after using 27+ inch monitors, smaller ones just feel, small!

Too used to the real estate that a larger screen brings, I can understand how the buzzing would be irritating though. But then at the end of the day, you cant really beat DELL warranty.

I can have either a single 27" or the dual 23" so for me having the dual 23" is actually bigger. I was interested in a single higher res screen to replace the two 23" but it's not quite as good as I thought it would be for this.

For me having the dual 23" screens offers more desktop space and I prefer having the seperate screens.

I will give it the rest of today to decide what to do I think.

Yeah I can see that, two screens > one for sure, I couldn't use a PC without two anymore either.

Pulled the trigger and got 2 more, if EK ever get me a replacement FC-Link for one of my 670 blocks I should be running three 2713 with Tri SLi :D

My first one is perfect, no pixel/backlight/buzzing at all :)

Mine is going back for a refund. I just like having dual screens too much and a single 1440p is no match for a pair of 1080p screens for my usage.

Was nice to play with it for a day and see how it compares.

Looks like I might be joining you in returning. Due to me having a bright light room I wasn't able to test for backlight issues till now. On testing could see backlight bleed at the bottom left, which looks like its the common area for this screen. But the nail in the coffin was playing a film and still seeing this bleed through the image in the affected area. Couldn't notice it to much in general pc use.

That's not good no bleed on mine just the usual IPS glow. I do feel screens this size look so much better with a gloss screen. The anti glare really muddies the picture and takes away the wow factor. My pcbank Korean screen had a much better image tbh....

^^ This is what was bugging me ^^

I couldn't make my mind up for ages either to buy a second U2410 for a dual 24" setup or a one single higher res 27"
Well I ordered the 27" and I guess I have to see what I think when it gets here..

I won't be coming from a dual screen 1200p setup (got just one 2408) but am looking forward to seeing the 1440p in action - would be tempted by a dual 27" 1440p setup but I've not got the room for it - or the mounts!

Got my monitor this afternoon. No dead pixels and no buzzing.

Just a yellowish patch on the lower left corner of the screen.

Turned the brightness down to 40 and can't hardly notice it now.

So this one is a keeper for sure.

That's good but I'd recommend viewing a 1080p film and check you can't notice the bleed. I'm glad I did but to be honest my one sound worse as no amount of lowering the brightness fixed it. Replacement is to arrive tomorrow so we shall see.

Got my 3 today too, haven't noticed any dead/stuck pixels.

Going to try to see how the back light is soon, now that it's dark enough outside to be able to see properly.

Hopefully I'll still be happy with them (I know I really am already)
