had this for 2 weeks now. Got mine imported from Renchi and was with me within 4 days of ordering.

Cracking game and also the most unforgiving I have ever played. How it should be if you ask me.

It is a confusing game and there are some elements which are not implemented well, however spend time with it and the mechanics will slowly start to make sense.

The combat is great and the atmosphere and settings are second to none. Every encounter has the chance with you ending up dead if you don't do it right, however if you do take your time you will win through. Not a game you can rush through.

When you get to the pantheon and see some of the other players achievements then you will realise how much of this game there is to see.

Do not get if you get frustrated with game easily, however, if you like a challenge then go for it.:D

It is the sort of game I would get a local copy of if it ever gets released here.

"This will be the game Oblivion should have been"

I just find that funny, Oblivion is pretty much the highest scoring game in its class as far as i'm aware, and i fail to see this, however brilliant it may look living up to expectations or claims like that.

Have u tried it online?

It is worth a shot but a guy on ebay is selling this game 15 quid a pop free delivery he has 7 left. If I don't get it I can always claim back on my CC or through PayPal.

His auction listing

"IVE GOT 20 OF THESE GAMES GOING FOR A GOOD PRISE SO 1CE THERE GONE THAY ARE GONE."

If he spells like that then I highly doubt he has the capacity to find a £40 game for less than £15, and about 50 off them by the amount sold from that listing.

I just ordered a copy of the bay for £38 :)

Wouldn't trust anyone selling large quantities for £15 each, sounds to good to be true tbh. Just not worth the hassle if you ask me..

Not really. It is so hard (I have found anyway) that I have not got far enough into the game yet to really take it that far. I know that you can invade other people games and attempt to kill them for souls, however I think that I will wait until I am leveled a bit more first, and I have good kit.

You can get other people to help. I believe that this happens by you using a stone on the ground which effectively advertises your services. I do not know what you gain from this though. I do not know whether you can invite mates into your game to help out as two of my mates quite literally only got the game two days ago. will try it though. However as the game can be beaten single player you kind of want to do it on your own. I will not really be asking for help me thinks

Yeah you maybe right I'll soon find out. 38 quid was that an overseas seller?

Yep, and there was quite a few different sellers around the same price.

Cheers, have read up and know what you need (black/blue stones) to be able to invite/invade other players world which I'm not really bothered about but I also read by getting the other players messages it can really help you. Anyway looks like it's pretty seemless and online doesn't cause any lag which is great :)

I have browsed over the Neogaf thread on this game a few times and the online side seems to be one of its biggest strengths. I'm in two minds about getting it now or holding out in the hope of a euro release.

cheers Streeteh? source of that?

Just had a look and it appears i'm talking out of my bottom, i swear i read a Eurogamer article stating that a publisher had been found, but it appears not. Whether that's a new development or i dreamed it is another matter.

But then, Disgaea 3 was meant to never be released in the EU, now you can buy it for less than £20.

I'm sure it will get released over here, but I wouldn't expect it until next year :(

TBH I'd rather get it now for the same sort of price and when I'm finished I'm sure it won't be hard to sell.

I got bored of oblivion halfway through especially with the broken levelling system which rendered the game unplayable.

I agree, oblivion wasn't as great as it was hailed for me as it had way too many flaws (which were mostly fixed by 3rd party mods in the end fortunately), but then neither were many recent games.
