Derek Chauvin murder trial (Police officer who arrested George Floyd)

I know exactly how fast someone can be put out, I also know plenty of people who think they are hard enough and resist tapping out until they can't. The position of the officers knee would make it impossible to block both the arteries and airway. I could possibly see the pressure on the back of his neck maybe causing increased pressure on his voice box, but is it enough to make someone suffocate that isn't high as a kite. That is what the jury need to decide.

You know when you are teaching new white belts how to shrimp, and you go knee on belly and transition from side to side? You ever notice how exhausted they are? That’s because your knee is stopping them from breathing properly.

For all the people claiming this death wasn't Chauvin's fault. Chauvin himself doesn't believe this. He accepted a 10 year plea deal, which was later withdrawn

It’s not just one side, it’s the force on back of the neck and the opposite side being forced into the ground with what could be the entire or majority weight of an adult human and no where for that force to go but flattening and squishing into the ground.

Also note the hand in the pocket and then watch the footage of Chauvin applying pressure on that hand into his pocket to get extra force into the neck. He's doing this long after GF stopped moving. What is his motive for this?

Grab someone firmly by the wrist and it will leave a bruise, yet this left nothing?

On some people it might, on others it won’t. You might bruise like a 12 year old ginger girl who is hyper pale, who’s skin is ultra sensitive, doesn’t mean others will. I’ve seen guys take shots to the face and break their orbital bone, and not have a visible blatant black eye.

I think you're just a liar.

There is no doubt in my mind he will be convicted regardless, if you think the riots last year were bad can you imagine the riots if he was found innocent?

I reckon he will get manslaughter, out in 2-3 with a protected identity.

Riots? That's a strange way to spell peaceful protests.

He will have to go in to protection for the rest of his life either way.

A cop in prison = dead
Found innocent = dead by BLM

Not when you're a police officer it isn't. Police officers murder people continously and law makers block them even going to trial.

Being a police officer doesn't change anything here. I don't think you understand that in the US justice system plenty of people take plea deals without actually believing that they're in the wrong. It is more a reflection of the risk they perceive should they go to trial...

In some cases even if you think you're likely to be found not guilty so long as there is a significant enough amount of uncertainty that you won't be and the potential punishment is much larger then going for a plea deal can be a good call.

Some people may accept plea deals while innocent in the US. You're ignoring the fact that for the most part police officers in the US get off scott free for blatant murder

This is another blatant murder. For some reason best known to yourself you're angry a white officer is facing justice for murdering a black man in cold blood

Some reason? It’s a mix of racism and boot licking for most.

Wouldnt necessarily attribute BLM as the only possible candidate for his death if he were found innocent, but certainly a large factor. He's would almost certainly be dead in a matter of days if were not in protective custody though, considering such a large portion of the prison population in the US are black.

*********. He'd either be in protective custody or be protected by the Aryan brotherhood inside prison
