Hmm I just watched the videos, it almost doesn't matter what the defence or prosecution say, it's all on video including the witnesses on site.

If this copper doesn't go down there are gonna be riots.

Anyone know the BAME makeup of the jury?
Hmm majority white jury. Most unfortunate, this is gonna be a stitch up.
America gonna have more problems when this over.

I've seen the original videos. I don't work from home and I'm working so I can't watch it. These people are watching it everyday though, they also understand the US legal system like none of us do. I'll trust their opinion over anyone on this forum.

Confirmation bias is funny like that. Look at some of the videos from the other side with former prosecutors saying the current prosecution was stupid for taking it to trial / blocking the guilty plea he was prepared to enter on 3rd degree.

At best I think the prosecution will get a Guilty for Manslaughter due to negligence but it could easily be an acquittal considering all these witnesses so far have been for the prosecution

We'll see in a couple of weeks time. I know I saw a man who didn't care if the person he detained lived or died. That person shouldn't have ever been a police officer.

And you think prosecutors are unbiased?

I think a case could be made for failure to render aid, but that's the best chance the prosecution has.

Trying to say Chauvin caused the death when the prosecution's own witnesses admitted that they have ruled lesser amounts of GF's drugs to cause death in the past and also that GF's heart was in such bad shape that he could die suddenly from his heart condition, does not a strong case make.

When I fist saw the clips and read the headlines, I was angry at the police.

Then the trial starts and I start learning important information that the media should have made into headlines but instead buried.

Now I'm angry with the media and their BS.

Unfortunately, the exculpatory evidence/testimony just isn't getting the coverage it deserves. Still, people in this thread need to stop pretending they are unaware of it.

What has the media buried that your sherlock skills have uncovered?

I know you're not that ignorant of the information Twinz referred to because you've seen it in this thread. There's no need for "sherlock skills". Just the ability to see, hear or read and not steadfastly ignore anything that doesn't fit the arranged story from the media.

I learned that GF was saying he couldn't breath BEFORE anyone did anything to his neck here, in this thread. That information never showed up in any of the news feed headlines I saw.

There's other info, but that was my first clue that the media had a narrative to uphold.

Riots will happen either way.

Watched the body cam footage and the defence team cross examined the prosecution witnesses (chief of police and the trainer)

That didn't look good for any murder conviction.

Floyd shouting he can't breath in the back of the wagon.

Body cam footage showing the officers knee on the shoulder/shoulder blade. The chief of police agreeing that the knee was infact on the shoulder.

Haven't seen the doctor's and heath conditions videos yet.

There's going to be riots if he's convicted or not.

There's going to be major backlash and not just from Floyd's supporters.

Seems like murder to me. Some of you are getting too much caught in it. End of the day he did not remove his knee despite knowing he was unconscious, showed no remorse and did not perform cpr.

If that's not murder I don't know what is.

Manslaughter if he removed his knee soon as he knew unconscious and did cpr but he still died, plus shown remorse.

You did know they proved his knee was on his shoulder blade?
Or are you just getting your info from the TV?

Every podcast has an agenda.
That's how they get people to follow them.

I know you wouldn't follow a right leaning podcast.
You should have listened to the trial and got all the correct info.

Do you not understand the concept of reasonable doubt, or have you just ignored the testimony brought out by the defense on cross examination?
Why is it odd? Are you suggesting this officer should be banged up without a fair trial?
I entirely approve of the concept of a "fair" trial and "Justice" being done and being seen to be done.

I don't share some posters' desperate desire to see the the decision go one way or the other simply on the basis of some dubious "evidence". In many respects this is a "show trial" in which justice is an inconvenient incidental consideration :(

It doesn't matter what anyone says anymore, it's all pretty clear on video what happened,.inc the witness statements from public at the scene.

Aren't you the same guy that mocks Lewis Hamilton in the motorsports section?
