So after mucking around for a while trying hard to keep things simple I ended with this. After previewing it on the forums I see thats its very close to the current but ah well, I guess thats subliminal suggestion for you. Anyway I may aswell post it but its nothing too fancy.

Oh and I havent been through all pages of this thread so I hope its not too similar to other people's ideas.

Stuff that, I have seen one very similar.

Ah screw it, I'll post mine. But anyone copying anything from it has to forfeit the prize to me if they win ¬_¬ :D

I was wanting to avoid using it personally, because a couple of the earlier ones just shouted 'BNP' a bit too much (who use the union flag sat inside text) and I assume OcUK don't want to be too closely associated.

Mh I see what you guys mean, I've never seen the BNP logo until just looking at it!

Obviously the flag can be removed :) I think the full flag should be removed, maybe just use half flag as in the smaller logos...

I would imagine the union jack flag may potentially put a lot of people off buying from Overclockers. Nothing wrong with the colours though, or parts of the flag mind.

Okay so I've installed Illustrator CS4 but when going to the File menu it bombs out saying that the Adobe Version Cue DLL cannot be found. I've checked (in both Program files x86 and normal folder) and its clearly there. Any ideas?

Do a completely clean reinstall of adobe cs4

I have, numerous times. It's defaulting to C:\Program Files, so I'm going to try C:\Program Files (x86)

Still nothing...
dunno then mate, may I suggest googling around looking for people posting on forums with similar problems... that's what I do when I have an issue that I can't work out on my own :)

Yeah :) I've seen some people say that renaming the update folder from 4.0.0 to 4.0.1 works but its still not working :@ Photoshop runs fine though despite requiring that same dependency

Great, found the fix which is nice and hard :@ All this cr*p for a feature that I won't actually use.

Adobe fail; bloated software with unneeded dependencies

Oh the joys; I follow the Adobe instructions and reinstalled. And the same happens again. :(

Hey, I've got a couple of ideas I'm mucking about with using inkscape, but I'm a complete novice really. It might sound silly though, but are you lot designing your own fonts, or just using well known fonts for your logos?

Cheers, borgia.
