Yeah I used to have my ps3 connected to a 32" hdtv and I would always sit on a sofa a fair distance away.

Are you telling me if I sat up close to the tv the games would look worse than my monitor?

Anything that is the same resolution but a larger screen, 22" 1080p monitor vs 32" 1080p TV will be worse quality and be more noticeable the closer you get.

The 22" will have a much better Pixel density and DPI. With the 32" TV the pixels have to be bigger so they fit the screen therefor the quality is worse.

This is normally countered by the fact monitors are higher quality because you sit so close to them. TVs are not designed to be used on a desk and have someone sit 1 ft in front of them.

Sorry for the bad quality, its hard to get good lighting in my room because the walls are orange.
In desperate need for a chair, actaully, I think I need to kit out my whole room with new furniture.

Close - it's a vikka top with adils legs I think, the shelf was some birch finish plank of wood and some legs I found on there, bit of a hack, but it works ok.

Desk with the shelf comes in at like £60 so you can't really go wrong!

Get a bigger monitor....how on earth do you read on that thing....I would be squinting trying to read anything on that unless the resolution is super low.
