*** Desk and Room Gallery***

I recently purchased a lovely prebuilt ocuk system from the very lovely samuelc, which looked like this:

I then got the bug, wanted to drag the spec list up to date and generally waste thousands more pounds :p

So I thought I'd update my loop, I had a huge amount of help from a member here (not sure if he wants to be named so I'll omit for the time being), I now feel quite confident, I've already changed my res and today I'll be shoving in a new 970x chip and waterblock

sorry for the crap photos I cannot seem to take any decent ones with my phone :(

thanks for looking, and if anyone in the cornwall area has half a clue how to take decent photos I'd happily buy them a pint if they could show me how ;)

Embody! Very jelly. I got a reclaimed Steelcase Leap (V2) the other day - did have a look for used/reclaimed Embody's but no dice and if the inflated price of used Aeron's lately is anything to go buy I couldn't have afforded it anyway. :(

Yeh its a nice chair, expensive though. If you can get your VAT back, it isn't AS bad. If you have a bad back, you cant really put a price on it. I'm labouring all day and sitting at a desk every second in between. I'm sure I will be thankful for it in a few years time. Took mine around 6 weeks to arrive. They are custom built to your spec. I can recommend a great company who supply them. They were about £100 cheaper than everyone else (I rang every supplier in the UK) and they managed to speed up the deliver by a week by telling them something or other, I cant remember.

When working/gaming, its the best chair in the world. It takes a bit of getting used to; you have to learn to sit properly! But it is excellent for your posture. When it comes to lounging around though, I wouldn't recommend it, though it is comfy, as soon as you wanna put your feet up and sit in any other way other than properly, it gets a bit weird. I usually swap to my old chair or sofa when it comes to watching films or jumping on the console.

Finally got around to clear out the home office after we moved in 3 years ago! In this picture I've just reformatted

The desk is an Ikea Pragel kitchen worktop which I've placed on top of a shelf unit for some storage, and the other end is held up by some basic Ikea desk legs.

All the cables are pretty well hidden. You can't see any of the PC cables unless you look under the desk, and only the extension socket cable is visible if you looking "normally". See below.
