*** Desk and Room Gallery***

I had a look two times. Still can't find it, I searched and looked through manually.. Guess it's not meant to be :(

Yeah I couldn't find it either that's why I linked you to Germany. Mine was ordered from Wayfair.co.uk but came direct from Germany next day delivery. I got mine only about 6 weeks ago in a sale for £195. Why not give them a call?

The tops? There gloss black kitchen draw fronts and speaker isolation pads.

OK thanks for your help mate, I guess it doesn't matter too much as long as it's not something flimsy, then the isolation pads should take care of the rest :) I like the idea but think I'd need a slightly wider desk :( :p

Is the tubing of the speaker stands hollow? Why not feed the wires through and under the desk so they don't trail behind? (OCD alert)

They are hollow tubes but caped off both ends and the bottom has a threaded rod coming out of the middle. There's no way of getting a power and xlr cable through it. Just not enough room. I might put some white braid over the black wires to blend it in a bit.

My little corner of my uni house
It's a bit different to my huge desk I have at home but I've tried to make the most of the space
Next purchase on the list is an ultra wide monitor for gaming and development and a new front for the Parvum which I broke!

Nice, what amp you using to drive the speakers? And custom made stands I take it?

The amp is a Marantz PM6004, and yeah the stands are kitchen cabinet feet that I ordered from ebay- filled with sand and welded to a thin piece of steel with rubber dots in each corner.

Did you find that made any difference to the sound? I have just got the Marantz PM6005 amp and some Monitor audio Bronze 2 speakers and they sound great but the bass is a little boomy. Thinking of getting some sort of desk stands or isolator pads.

They sound noticeable more "isolated", I found when they where just sitting on the desk the mid to low end felt very muffled (for lack of a better word).
