Looks good, not a big fan of the keyboard with clear caps though, i imagine it makes the keys harder to identify?

nice knife though :p

Yeah they are more of a novelty, not that great quality either, not that I spend a lot of time looking at the keys, but I've got the original white set but been too lazy to swap them back, looking to get a set of quality black back-lit keys, it's nails trying to get a set of ducky ones.

yeah its more a case of with them being clear they seem to blend together rather than stand out as individual keys.. or maybe its just me lol

Treated myself.

New chair: GT Omega MASTER XL
New keyboard: Logitech G810
New monitor stand: "TRIPLE LCD LED TFT MONITOR DESK STAND MOUNT CLAMP FULLY ADJUSTABLE HEAVY DUTY 3 SCREENS 13-24"

timthumb.php

(For the OCD lovers that gap has now gone between the right monitor)

The stand is really heavy duty much to my surprise, only cost £40.

very nice and clean setup, the 3 monitor setup always looks great though ive never seen a need for it myself..
i did try a dual monitor setup before but only used the second one once

also looked at the gt omega chairs before and they are really nice
had those same speakers in the past too, theyre pretty decent considering the size/price of them

Your speakers are to close together...You need them further apart to increase stereo imaging.

What are people using to secure their worktops to their Alex draw units, if anything?

I asked this before and with the alex draws you get some rubber pads that sit under the worktop and keep it in position, most people use them and thats all
apparently its very stable

you've reminded me - on seeing the builds on here I bought 4 Alex drawers before Christmas with a view of building 2 large desks ....

they're still in the garage non-built - and I've not bought the work-tops yet !

what do people recommend for work-tops - I've seen the "Prime Oak" ones etc on here- but have a concern that if you put down say a slightly wet glass/coffee cup etc it'll permanently mark ?

damn thats nice radox

agreed the stand on that is huge but removing it would be a shame as it looks so good
and its not like your lacking desk space

dont think i could ever justify spending so much on a system like that though even if it does look that good! :p

I cannot fathom spending that much on a system and not watercooling it?? The lawnmower noise from those reference cards alone would drive me INSANE lol! Your sig says 'custom loop' though, so I'm confused... is that your plan?

Thanks. Yup, normally I would have swapped it out and mounted it, but had monitor for a year so pretty used to the stand sitting so far forward and do quiet like how it looks.

Titan X's that used to be in it were under blocks. Did not bother to put the 1080's under blocks when I moved to them as the noise is okay, granted does not boost as high as they could, but I love the way the ref cards look so a bit of a tradeof and the CPU has got part of the loop to itself now.
