can someonle please tell me how i can put TV channels on my screen? I know it includes samurize and custom scripts. Please could someone post their script and some icons maybe? I would apreciate it so much.

I know there is a reallly big samurize post but its so long and i coulnt find anything that i undertood.

Get the script from the samurize site.
There's a post about what you need to change to make it work right.
The icons are in the file you download, and I've posted the replacement bbc 1 icon.

ok i got a script "Az6 & AzToolbar Configs" it looks nice, but the internet activity doesnt work.

The weather works but how do i custmise it to my area?

You'll need to put a code in for your area somewhere, most likely into the script itself.

I got that script but when I moved the files into the dir's they needed to be in, its not there to be selected. How do I do it?

Good start would be to get a decent desktop, that'll work on any os, linux, winblows, anything.
The take a look at some of the themes you can get on the internet, such as from www.themexp.org

anyone found the satellite logos in png format for sky1, paramount etc? they ain't on the samurize website and i can't find them via google either...

as you can see, my desktop is a little bare without them

paint can convert jpg, gifs etc to png so just grab a logo from their websites.

If that wont work post them here and someone will convert them with a better graphics package

i have photoshop, but either way i save the png it won't show in samurize...

Maybe, only thing is that means it occupying the whole screen, so a far bigger performance hit :rolleyes:

cool, got the PNGs working (but didn't do anything different!) but also have probs wi the weather script.

killproc isn't working, so it opens mulitple instances when i'm at work. My script is as below

Const instance_name = "hep"

and the shortcut runs as

"F:\PC Utils\Samurize\Client.exe" "hep"

any idea?

I sometimes get that as well, seems to be mainly when the machine is locked.

my machine never locks tho, so it must be something different. is there anything needed by windows to allow killproc to work correctly?

No I meant when you do the "lock windows" thing (win+L)
